Chapter Ten

Amanda and I stayed in the middle of the clearing, sitting on the ground while talking random things, and laughed with our silly jokes. I feel so happy, I didn't feel empty, I didn't feel alone anymore.

She also brought her drawing materials to show her talent in arts, which I can say is impressive. She's really good at it. Her hands can create a beautiful life on paper. She showed me some of her works, and decided to make a portrait of mine.

"Are you not done yet?" I asked her. I think I'm posing here for almost an hour.

"Almost!" She said still working on her pad, and looking at me at the same time.

I swear, being a model of an artist is tiring. How can a models enjoyed this kind of work. Maybe if it is a photo shoot, I won't complain at all. At least, a photo can be done in a minute, I think. I wonder what kind of profession I have out there.

"Okay, It's done now." Amanda said happily.

"Oh, thanks God. Finally." I said then get up to stretch my body.

"You want to see it?" She asked me.

I rolled my eyes. "Are you kidding me? Of course I do. Besides, that's my portrait after all." I said.

She chuckled. "Okay, here." She handed me her drawing pad.

As I looked at it, I don't know what to say. It's freaking awesome, all the details are perfectly drawn. I looked alive in there.

"Do you liked it?" Amanda asked me.

"Oh my God! Amanda, you're so good, this is beautiful. I love it." I said proud for her.

She smiled to me brightly. "I'm glad that you liked it. You're a perfect model, your eyes and dark green eyes are perfect combination." She said.

"So, how much is my talent fee." I asked her playfully.

She laughed and I did the same. I lay my body on the ground, she did the same also. "This feels so good." She said.

"Yeah, it is. I'm glad that you can see me, I don't feel lonely anymore." I confessed to her.

"I'm glad too, I found a friend in you." She said, I smiled and I closed my eyes.

"So, when do you think we can tell them?" She suddenly asked.

"Hmm... Do we need to?" I asked her.

"Of course we do. They need to know, especially Adam. He's your mate." She said?

"Wait, what is a mate? I always heard the word mate. What it is?" I asked her as I opened my eyes.

"Only Adan can answer that question." She said.

"Why can't you?"

"It's just... Ugh! Trust me okay. He's the only one who can explain all of this to you." She said

 I sighed. "Fine! Let's tell them tonight, at dinner." I said.

She suddenly sat, facing me. "Really? We'll tell them tonight?"

I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "I think, that's what I just said?"

She tried to hit my forehead, but of course she couldn't touch me. I laughed in her action. "You think you can do that huh?" I mocked her.

"Oh darling, be thankful that I can't touch you. Because I swear, I will do it." She said threatening me.

 "Oh I'm sorry darling, better luck next time." I said the we both laughed like there's no tomorrow.

Suddenly, she stopped. I looked at her curiously. "What's the matter?" I asked her but didn't said anything. Her eyes is fixed from afar. I sit down and followed her gaze. My eyes widened.

"They're here." I said, she just nodded.

After a while Adam and his friends are standing in front of us. They're all looking to Amanda curiously.

"Are you okay babe? Why are you laughing so hard?" Lucas asked her.

"Uhm, nothing babe. I'm just happy that's all." She answered.

"What are you all doing here?" She asked again.

"We decided to take a run after we ate lunch." Lucas said, then sat beside her. The guys sat on the ground too.

"Well you, what are you doing here? didn't you need to eat lunch too?" Lucas asked her again.

"I got bored, so I decided to go here to draw some beautiful scenery's." She said.

"You can draw?" Vince asked her.

"Uhm, yes. I'm an artist." She said proudly.

"Wow! that's awesome. Can we see your work?" Tom said.

Before she can answered, Adam took her drawing pad, opened it and began to looked at her work. My eyes widened. "Amanda, they're going to see my portrait." I said.

Suddenly, she gasped.  "Uhm Alpha, I'm sorry but can I get that?" She said.

Adam looked at her curiously. "Sure. I'm sorry, I thought we can see your creation." He said flatly.

"Uhm yeah of course, but not now maybe later at dinner, I will show it to you all, it's a surprise." Adam just nodded and gave her drawing pad.

"Lets go back to the house babe, you need to eat lunch I don't want you to get starve." Lucas said.

"Okay babe!" She said the get up. "Alpha, we're heading now, see you tonight?" She asked Adam. He nodded.

"Buy guys, see you later." Lucas said to them. Then, they began to walked away.

"She is really something." Tom said.

"Yeah, I agree." Vince added.

"Lets go and run around the borders guys." Adam said to Vince and Tom. "Okay Alpha." They said at the same time.

Suddenly, the three guys took off their clothes, my eyes widened then covered my mouth. Holy mother of cheese, why I am so lucky to see this beautiful view? I asked myself. I focused my eyes with Adam. I swear, he's a one beautiful species. A perfect creation of God. I know, in a situation like this a girl will cove their eyes, but not me. It is not every day that you can see this. Pervert I know. I giggled.

The scene didn't last.after they're took off their clothes they shifted into a wolf, then run away. This time, I didn't get scared, maybe I already used to it. Who doesn't?

Adam's black silky wolf is bigger than Vince and Tom's, maybe because he's an Alpha. Wait a minute, what's an Alpha again? I shook my head and took a deep breath. All of the things about their wold is confusing. The Alpha and the mate thing. I didn't know what is what. And most of all, I didn't know what's my importance to them.

After a minute, and they're already gone from my sight, I turned around and started to walked towards the house.

Tonight, and exciting and unexpected things will happen. I wonder what will be Adam's reaction? Will he get mad? I just wish that he won't get mad that much. I sighed. Well, what ever is his reaction, so be it. This is for them anyways, this is for the best I think.
