Ring! Ring! Ring!

I groaned upon hearing the telephone rang. Who the f*ck is that? I asked myself annoyed.

When I arrived at my apartment, I was too lazy to go to my bedroom. So, instead of going there, I choose to lay on the couch and slept there. Yeah, sometimes I'm so freaking lazy.

I stretched my left arm to reach the telephone, which is placed to a small table next to the couch.

"Hello? Who's this!?" I asked a bit irritated.

"Someone is being grumpy tonight!" I heard Dominick's mocking voice. I smiled.

"What do you want!?" I asked him.

"Where are you? Why did you leave the rest house?" He asked.

I shifted to my position and lay with my back. "Well first... Since you called on my land line, I know that you already know where I am right now. And second... I got freaking bored so I decided to go back here in my apartment and sleep." I said then yawn. He chuckled.

"Open the door. I'm going in." He said.

"Why? Are you outside my door?"

"Yes, genius. That's why I'm asking you to open it." He said.

"Don't you have a spare key? Why don't you open it by yourself." I said sarcastically. He chuckled again. "Fine!"

I looked at the front door until it opens. Dominick went in and he was surprised to see me lying on the couch. He's holding two paper bags that I suppose is food.

"Don't you have a bedroom?" He said with furrowed eyebrows while closing the door with his foot.

"Nah! I'm too lazy to go there." I said. He shook his head.

"Of course. The lazy Louie is back." He said. I chuckled.

"What do you want? Why'd you come here?" I asked him.

"Well... I went to the rest house only to find out that you're not there anymore. So, I tried to call your father to ask him if he knows where you are. So here I am." He said while walking towards the kitchen and placed the paper bags on the kitchen counter.

"Sorry for not informing you, father. But you see, I had enough of that place. And I don't have a plan to stay any longer." I said jokingly. He slightly grinned while he's shaking his head.

"You hungry?" He asked.

"You have no idea!" I said then get up form the couch. I walked towards the kitchen counter and sit on the kitchen stool. "What have you got?" I asked while elbows on top of the counter, hands under my chin.

"Uhm... Pasta, chicken, mushroom soup and peach mango pie for dessert" He said showing the food which already on the plate. "Yum!" I said. Peach mango pie is my favorite. He handed me the fork and we started to eat.

After a while, we finished eating. He took the dishes and put them in the dishwasher. I Just watched him as he did it.

"Have dad told you that I'm going back to work and continue my mission?" I said after drinking water.

He turned around and looked at me. "Are you sure that you're able to return to work?" He said seriously looking at my face. "Yes!" I answered.

"Dr. Clark said, you need a long rest until your wounds will eventually heal." He said with disapproval in his face.
