Chapter Twenty Six

Tom's POV:

Sitting on the chair while tapping my fingers on the table with the tune in my head. I'm currently at Eve's cafe, waiting for my coffee.

This past few days is a bit stressful to all of us. From Louie's disappearance, to those missing teenagers. So, here I am. Trying to escape for a moment.

"Here's your coffee, Tom." An old lady who's name is Eve the owner of this cafe, get my attention. She put the coffee on the table that I ordered earlier. I smiled to her.

"Thank you, Eve." I said.

"Are you sure that's all you want?" She asked me.

"Yes, Eve. Thanks." I said.

Eve is a human. One of our elder is her mate. In her case, knowing as her other half is a werewolf is not a problem. She accepted him with all her heart. They live together like those normal couple who's madly in love with each other.

I sigh before drinking my coffee.

"I wonder where our mate is?" My wolf said.

"Don't worry. We'll find her. She's somewhere out there, waiting for us." I said with determination.

Sometimes I'm also wondering if what is our mate's looks like? Is she beautiful like Louie and Amanda?

"No matter what she looks like, we're going to accept her." My wolf said. I rolled my eyes.

"Did I say anything, like not accepting her?" I said.

"No." He answered.

Suddenly, the wind chimes that's hanging on the door sang. Indicating that someone's entered. Thereafter, the most delicious scent that I ever smelled hit my nose. My mouth began to watered. It smell like sweet vanilla and lavender. I looked at the entrance door, searching for the owner of that smell. And there, the most beautiful woman that I ever seen entered. A beautiful human. She had a wavy dark brown hair, a full red lips, white complexion and a body that every man will dreamed of. I growled silently because of that.

"Go to her!" My wolf said excitedly. I blink my eyes for several times, getting back to myself.

I got up and walked towards where she was standing. She's looking at the board where the menu is being written. Her left hand is under her chin while the other is supporting her elbow. I walked slowly not removing my stare at her.

"Two Latte, please. To go. Oh, and this cup cakes too..." The goddess in front of me said. I growled upon hearing those beautiful voice.

She looked at me when she heard me growled. She looked at me curiously with furrowed eyebrows. Then, our eyes met. Everything around us faded away. The time seemed to stop, as well as the rotation of the world. I was captured of that dark brown orbs. And it hits me.

"Mate!" I said then pulled her towards my body. I hugged her tightly and put my nose on the crook of her neck and sniffed her intoxicating scent. I smiled in happiness. My wolf purred. That unexplained feelings erupted like fireworks.

"L-let me go!" I heard her say, trying to be freed from me. But I just tightened my embrace to her.

"Mine!" I growled.

"I said let me go!" She says and pushed me hard away from her body. Hatred is written on her face. Then, a hard slap landed on my cheek.

"Asshole!" She said then walk away.

I blinked several times in disbelief. "What the..."

I run after her. I grabbed her arms when she reached the door. She turned around and struck me with her bag. I groaned in annoyance!

"Jeez, woman! Will you stop tha—" I tried to say but another struck came to my head. Damn! What's in her bag? I growled this time. Her eyes widened. She stepped back until she made it outside.

I followed her and grabbed her arms once again. This time I'll make sure she won't escape from me.

"Get off me, you psycho!" She shouted wiggling her arms.

"Not a chance, princess." I said while smirking. She looked at me like I'm crazy. Then another scent of a human caught by my nose. That scent is kinda familiar.

"Let her go!" A familiar voice said behind me. I turned around to find who it was. There, I saw a woman with a red hair. I can't see her eyes because she's wearing a shades. Could it she be?
 I asked myself.

"I said let her go!" She said again, a bit louder this time. Pack members started to surrounded us.

"Don't do anything!" I said through mind link.

"No! She's mine! She will stay here with me." I said giving her a deadly glares and to her gun. She's looking at me like I'm a mad man.

She chuckled. "Looked, man. What ever your problem is, let us stay out of it and let us leave." She said. Hell no! Both my wolf and I said.

I pulled my mate towards my body and hugged her tightly from behind. That red haired woman got surprised in my action. I smirked.

She removed her shades and took a deep breath. My eyes widened after she did that. Pack members around us gasped in surprised. I can't believe this. Is this true? Or I'm just seeing things because of stress. But why can't she recognize me?

"Our Luna!"  One of the pack member said.

"She's here. She's back!" Other said.

"L-Louie!" I said. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Tom? What's happening there?" I heard Adam said in mind link.

"Why they're calling for their Luna?" Another voice asked. I guess it's Lucas.

I blocked them all.

"Look, man. Let her go and let us leave. Stop wasting my time." Louie said again. Irritation is in her voice.

Before I can do anything or I can say anything. My mate did something that I never expect her to do. She stomps her heels on my foot, turned around and brought her knee on my groins. Damn!

My mate started to run towards Louie's direction, straight to their car. Louie stepped back still pointing the gun towards my direction. She opened the car door, and pulled away immediately.

The wall that I put on our link a while ago, collapsed. All of them tried to talk to me, asking what happened. Why the pack members calling for their Luna. Top of it, Adam is so f*cking angry.

"Goddammit, Tom! What the hell happened?" Adam shouted. I squinted my eyes.

"I-I found my mate. She's a human and she run away." I said.

"What? What about Louie?" Adam asked again.

"She's with my mate." I said.

Silence...

"Where coming there. Follow them and don't let them out of your sight." Adam said and blocked me out.

I shifted on my wolf form and run beside the road where the trees are covering my form. I run following their scent. I run faster. Determined to get them. Get my mate and my Luna.
