Mated To A Ghost

Chapter Five

Anyway, here is chapter five.

Louie's POV:

Two days have passed since I found about those scary beast, about Adam being a beast. At the first day of running away. I just keep on walking and walking, trying to find a freaking way out. I am tired! I don't feel it, but if you think about it, it is. Believe me.

I walked around of this freaking woods, but I just end up in front of that freaking house. Adam's house. I don't know but, I feel that I'm kinda stock here. I mean, there's like something that holding me, not to leave. Weird right.

I walked, and walked. But at the end of the time, I was back where I started.

So, I gave up! No more walking. If you're thinking where I am now. Well, I'm at their house, lurking around. Yes, I know they can't see me. Though, I'm paranoid. You can't blame me, what would you feel if you saw those things huh? You'll freak out of course.

Anyway, Adam can't see me now either. Yes, he can't and I don't know why. I just found out, when I go to his room. I stood in front of him, watching him drowning himself in alcohol.

I don't know why I still choose to go there, to watch him every time he drinks and swallowed his whiskey, to watch him laughed bitterly, flinched every time he throws the empty bottles angrily and blamed himself for loosing me. I felt sad every time his tears runs down to his cheeks. It pained me every time he punched the wall so hard. I want to go to him, hug him, comfort him, tell him that I'm here. But I can't, I'm scared.

He's saying about mate. Saying that he found her but looses her at the same time. He's talking to the moon goddess, asking why she's doing this to him. I wonder who's the moon goddess? And what is a mate? Mate as in friend? I'm confused. Really confused.

This morning I decided to take a walk outside, to wander around the woods, breathe some fresh air. So, here I am now. I left Adam to his room, still sleeping, he locked himself in his room for two days. Every hour, people will come in front of his door, trying to convince him to get out of there. But, he only refused and tell them to go away and leave him alone.

After several hours of walking around, I decided to go back to the house. The sunlight is a bit high now, maybe it's already noon.

I started walking towards the house. I traced my path earlier.

When I reached the house, I walked pass through the door without opening it. I know it's pretty cool and creepy at the same time. I can pass through anywhere.

I walked towards Adam's room. I wonder if he's still there. Once I'm in front of his room, I walked pass trough his door.

Once I entered, a bright and clean room greeted me. The bed is now empty, and the bottles on the floor are all gone now.

"So now he decided to go out of his room." I said.

I walked in front of the closet's door and listen for any sounds indicating that he's in there. Nothing, so I went in it. I go to the other door, which is the bathroom and did the same. He's not in there either.

I  go out of the room and begin the search for him. Where is he this time? I asked myself.

I searched all over the house, but still didn't find him. I groaned. "Where the hell is he?" I was currently outside the house, thinking to stop looking for Adam but suddenly, he showed up from the woods with the guys. I noticed a blonde woman beside Lucas. They are holding hands. I wonder who is she? I shrugged. Mind your own business Louie. I said to myself.

I looked at Adam. He's stubble has grown a bit, and you can see those dark spot below his eyes. In two days he did nothing but to drink and to get drunk. I smiled. Well, at least now he's here, outside.

I remained standing in my place while I watched them walk towards the house. Lucas and the blonde girl keep on glancing and smile with each other. I can guest now, she's Lucas's girlfriend.

When they got in front the house, I noticed many people suddenly came. You can see the happiness in their faces. I looked at them all, it seems that they want to see the blonde girl. I wonder why?

Lucas and the blonde girl stood beside Adam, facing the people.

"Everyone! May I have your attention please?" Adam said. Everybody stopped talking and looked at Adam.

"As you can see, Lucas found his mate, your Beta female." They all whistle and cheered in happiness. Here's the mate thing again. And what is Beta? I though to myself.

"Tonight, we will celebrate her arrival, and to welcome her to our pack." Adam said. Everyone became more happy.

I can say that, they love celebration. I cheered with them, even though I didn't know what is this all about. I looked at the blonde girl, thinking how important she is, and this people will celebrate for her.

Suddenly, she looked at my direction, smiled and wave her hand. My eyes widened. Did she saw me? I looked around me, there's no other person in this spot.

I looked at her again. She's still looking at me, confusion and disbelief written all over her face. Shit! She did saw me. I said to myself  then walked away.

Amanda's POV:

I am so happy. I can't believe that I found my mate here. I finally found him.

We arrived to their pack house. Pack members greeted us. They all look happy, they're smiling and waving their hands at me. I did the same to them.

One thing caught my eyes. No, not a thing, a person. A woman with a red hair with a beautiful forest green eyes. There's something odd to her. Suddenly she looked at me, I smiled to her and wave my hand. Her eyes widened, then she looked around her. She looked shocked. She looked at me again then walked away quickly.

I can't believe it, and at the same time I'm confused. I'm sure of what I saw.

I looked at the spot where she had earlier. I wonder why she's here? And I wonder if they know about her.

I was snap in my thoughts when Lucas hold my hand. "Are you okay babe?" He asked. "Uhm... Yeah, I'm fine." I said then smile to him.

Maybe I just find her later. Talk to her. Ask her why she's here. I sighed.

I though it's gone. My gift. A gift to see a ghost. Yes, I can see a ghost. And I can say that, this gift  is not what makes a person happy. It's creepy. I sigh again.

I can say, that this place is interesting, and creepy. First, I found my mate, then I saw a ghost. Well, for now I will enjoy this moment, the moment where I found my mate, and the moment their pack welcomed me.
