Chapter Sixteen

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I groaned when I heard the annoying sounds of Adam's alarm clock. Last night after dinner, Amanda keeps on insisting for us to continue the fifty shades of grey movie. She said, we didn't finish it yet and she wanted to know what happened to its ending. So, for the sake of our peaceful night we gave her what she wants.

I don't know if how old I am, but for me that movie is disturbing. Well, for those couples who wants to experiment in bed, that movie is perfect for them. Believe me.

"Can you shut it off?" I said with a rattle voice while my eyes are still closed.

I felt Adam shifted on his position reaching the clock, then the beeping sound stopped. I sighed. "That's better." I said.

Adam chuckled. "Someone is being grumpy this morning." He said in his 'oh so delicious morning voice'.

I raised my head to look at him. My eyes are still lazy for them to open properly, but I saw him lying on his stomach, like my position. I know he can't see me, but still I flashed a dazzling smile towards him.

"Good morning, handsome." I greeted him.

"Good morning, beautiful." He greeted me back, smiling.

"I'm still sleepy." I complaint.

"Then go back to sleep, baby."

"Hmmm..." Is all I said.

"Is ghost supposed to feel like that? I mean, when we first met you said you can't feel anything, specially being tired." Adam said.

I snuggled to my pillow again, thinking on what Adam just said. He's right, when I first came here everything's feel just light. I mean, no exhausted feeling, no hungry feeling and what so ever. But this time, it's different. I can feel tiredness, I can feel hunger but unfortunately I can't eat, and I can feel the things that is supposed to be just passing through my body.

"Yes, you're right. But now, I feel different." I answered.

"Yeah. Your touches feels different now, I can feel you even more. I mean, remember the day you first touched me? I felt this slightly cold feeling. But now, the coldness increases. He said. I nodded.

"You think it is good for me?" I asked him.

"I don't know, baby. Lets just hope that it is good for you." He said then lay slightly facing me.

"I wish that I can hold you right now." He said.

I shifted in to my position and go closer to him. I buried my face to his chest and put my left hand to his waist. The warmth of his body greeted me.

I heard Adam purred in delight. For me, I think it is cute. We, ordinary people can't do that kind of stuff. I mean, creating a sounds for the feelings that we felt specially for someone special to us.

Suddenly, a loud knock from the door disturbed us. Adam groaned in annoyance, he get up from the bed, walked towards the door and opened it.

"What?!" He shouted.

"Well, good morning to you too, Mr. Alpha." I heard Tom's voice.

"Good morning, Tom" I shouted greeting him.

Tom walked inside the room, eyes roaming around. "Morning, Luna." He said not sure where to look. I chuckled.

"What do you want, Tom?" Adam asked him.

"Alpha Philip is here. I tried to connect on your mind, but unfortunately you're blocking us out." Tom said.

Adam groaned. "Okay, tell him I'll be right there. Just give a minute." Tom nodded then lave.

"Who's Alpha Philip?" I asked. He looked at my direction.

"He's the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, our neighboring pack. He's one of my allies. Sometimes we work together against the rogues." He explained. "Okay."

Then, he began to strip off his clothes in front of me. My eyes widened because of that. "What are you doing?!" I said shouting.

"Taking off of my clothes." He answered, smirking.

When it's turn for his boxer's shorts, I covered my eyes with my hands. "It is not funny, Adam!" I said to him. He just chuckled. Then I heard his footsteps towards the bathroom. I slowly removed my hands from my eyes. I sighed in relief.

Yes, his body is so freaking gorgeous. But, I'm not a pervert. Wait just kidding, I am. Wait no, just slight. I chuckled. Insane right? Then I snuggled to my pillow again. It's better to get sleep again.

Dominick's POV:

I slowly opened the apartment's door of Louie. Yes, I have a spare key of her apartment. So, don't look at me like that.

Sometimes, I would come here than my own apartment. Scratch that, always. Well, nothing's wrong with that. Her place is too big for herself, and cozy. But, I did not say that my apartment is not big and cozy. So, as a good friend. I accompanied her. I know, such a lame excuse.

I looked around to study the area. Nothings changed, it is always neat and clean.

I walked towards the door where Louie's private office is. I entered there and go to her table. Just a typical secret agents office. There's a lot of files around, plans and picture are attached the the board, and more papers.

I opened her laptop and entered her password. Yes, I know her password as well. I started to search for the file that I wanted to see. Usually, Louie and I are partners when it comes to huge missions. But, if it's not that big. We work alone. We work on what's our boss given to us.

After a while I found what I am looking for. The folder said. 'Russian's Syndicate.' I clicked on the folder, but it is asking for a password.

"Shit! How am I suppose to see this?" I asked myself out loud.

After several attempts of putting password. Still, nothing happened. I tried all the password that I think is right.

"Really smart, Louie. Really smart." I said shaking my head.

Sometimes, I hate her being so smart. And I hate her being so dedicated to her job, that no ones can interfere. I leaned on the chair, thinking on what to do.

I looked down and saw her drawer that is attached to the table. I opened it and saw a folder where the 'confidential' is written. I opened it and read.

"Gotcha!" I said cheerily.

According to this file. This syndicate are spreading drugs in different countries by using minors. They're cutting their stomach and they will put the packages of drugs inside there. I grimaced in that thought.

"How can you not tell me about this Louie? This mission is huge." I said to myself.

I looked at the laptop again. I know you found something more, and it puts your life in risk. What is it Louie?
