"Oh my God! I can't feel my butt!" Vivien said complaining once she get off from the car. I chuckled. Well, I can't blame her. If you sat for four hours straight, you will feel the same. A numb butt.

"Don't worry, Vi. You'll feel it again later." I said mocking her while still chuckling. She glared at me.

"Don't you dare laugh at me. This is your fault." She said. I raised my hands in surrender. Don't mess a girl with a numb butt.

"Come on, lets get inside the house." I said and grab her arms. I dragged her towards the house while the guys are following behind us. Lucas and Amanda came out on the front door with smile on their faces.

"Welcome back, guys." Amanda greeted us.

"Hi, Mandy!" I let go of Vivien's arm to hug Amanda.

"Seriously guys, why are you leaving in the middle of nowhere?" I heard Vivien asked. I let go of Amanda and looked at her.

"For their safety and for the peaceful life that this pack wanted to have." I said. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Pack? What is that?" She asked.

"Uhm... You see Vivien, we are living in a small community where other people is out of the picture. Meaning, we do have a private life that no one can interfere. We live in our own ways, in our own rules. We do not follow those shitty things that government is implemented." Tom said, rescuing me.

"And why is that? I mean, why you wanted to live in this kind of life?" She asked again.

And there it goes, ladies and gentlemen. A girl who ask questions after questions. I rolled my eyes.

"Come on, guys. Lets do this inside. I'm kinda hungry now. Maybe we can talk about this matter while we are eating. Don't you think?" I said.

"Yeah. Louie is right. You see, it's really late now and we all need to rest." Adam said looking at Tom.

"Hey! You owe me an answers why you dragged me here." Vivien complaint.

"Come on, Vi. Don't worry, they will answer all your questions." I said then put my arms on her shoulder.

"You're so dead, Louie. You're so dead." She said. I just chuckled and we all walked inside the house. The surroundings are really quiet now, so I think all the pack members are already sleeping.

We entered the kitchen and decided to sit on the kitchen stools instead of going to the huge dining area.

Amanda and Lucas served us food while they make coffee for themselves. They said they already have dinner earlier.

While eating, I can't help my self to look at Tom and Vivien. Tom's trying to help Vivien with everything. Vivien is a bit hostile, but I can see in her eyes that she wants what Tom is doing. Those glimpse in her eyes says everything. I know that bond is working between them, and I know she can feel it the way Tom's feels the same. I smiled secretly.

"Why are you smiling?" Adam whispered in my ear. A tingling sensation runs down to my spine. I looked at him.

"Nothing. I'm just happy, that's all." I said then smiled while I'm looking into his eyes.

"So, are you going to tell me now why I'm here?" Vivien said cutting our staring contest.

Everybody fell into silence. Waiting who's going to speak first and who's going to explain everything. I looked around and stop with Tom. I raised my eyebrow. He cleared his throat then looked at Vivien.
