I was sitting at the breakfast shack thing outside in the prison yard. I was sitting by carl. "so, what are your chores today?" "Uh, today, I have fence and watch duty. Yours?" "Farming and watch. What time is your watch?" "Next." "Mines three" he said. "Oh" I said. "who's yours with?" He asked. "Maggie" "oh. Mines with Glenn." He said. Maggie is like...i think my sister in law, so is beth because maggie is married to my brother glenn. Beth usually comes up with Judith when maggie and I have watch. "Well, bye" I said, finishing. "Bye" I met maggie and Beth with Judith at the top of the watch tower. "Oh my gosh! He so likes you!" Says Beth. "You like him too!" Squeals Maggie. "No...i dont..?" I'm a horrible liar. "Nice try. I Bet Judith could even tell you were lying" says Beth. "Ha. Ha." I say. "So. Does he always try to talk to you?" "Yeah..." I say. "Does he always ask about you?" asks Beth. "He asks glenn about her..." maggie trails off. "What does he say?!" I'm practically on my knees begging. "Stuff. Thangs." Said Maggie. "Okay, Rick" I tease. "Does he always want to sit by you?" "But I'm your sister" I pretend pout. "Exactly" he says, jokingly. he shuts the door. "Rude!" I say, talking to the door. I sigh. "You could get lost in my eyes, huh?" I spin around to see carl. "Oh my gosh! Carl! You scared me!" "You love my gorgeous hair?" "You weren't suppose to hear that" I whine. "Well, I'm glad i did so I know you like me back." "Like you back?" I caught on. Right when I was about to say something, he kissed me. "I'm also glad I heard so I could do that". we walk some more. "You think I'm the greatest guy on earth?" He asks. "maybe" I said shyly. "That's good, cause I thing your the greatest girl on earth. But what shocked me the most was, you think I'd be the best boyfriend for you?" i sigh. "Are you drunk? What brought this boost of confidence?" "You did. You light me up inside like a fire." "Why thank you" i playfully joke. "But, it's a coincidence that I think you'd be the best girlfriend for me. so, what I'm saying is would you be my girlfriend?" "What if I did something, say a prank to you while we were dating, would you get mad?" "Depends." He says. I run off to his cell. I get a sharpie and run back to him. "close your eyes" I say. "Okay." He does so, then, on the front of his favorite shirt he's wearing today I write "yes" in bubble letters then color them in. He opens his eyes. I also have my favorite shirt on. "Commere!" He says. On my shirt he writes. "C+E=" then he put an infinity sign on my sleeve. i smile at him. i fall to the ground and look at the sun. "I'm tired." I say. "Oh. I forgot to tell you, I switched my farm duty with Patrick so I could be at the fence with you. It's time to go there, so, wanna piggy back ride?" "Carl, I would squish you" I say. "Don't. Care." He said. He grabbed me up by my legs and put me on his back. We walked like that to the fence.
