Chapter 12

The next day

Jay's POV:

"All right, I'll go get your papers and you're free," Will said. "Hey, have you seen Hailey?" I asked, "Why not?" "She said she would come and she's not here yet!" Will looked from the side of the elevators, "Talking about the wolf!" Said Will and laughed, "Stop being a little late, it's nothing compared to his being late!" she said, pointing at me, "Hey!" "Okay, I'll leave you and I'll be back in a minute!" said Will as he left the room. Hailey approached me and sat down. "Hey, how are you?" I asked, "Okay, are you?" "I can't wait to go home with you and spend time with you!" "Jay, I know what you're up to, but we have to be careful, you know?" "To know and I can't wait to hold our child in my arms and know that I will be the best father!" "I know you will be like that!" she said with a smile on her face. Will came in and handed me the documents, and then she asked me, "Ready to go home?" "I'm ready!" Hailey smiled at me and we headed for the car. She helped me inside, but this time I sat in the passenger seat. We stopped at a traffic light and I looked at Hailey and she looked very worried. I reached out and put it on my thigh so she knew I was there for her. "What's on your mind?" I asked, "I'm just depressed about being able to carry the baby." "Don't worry, I'm next to you and we'll go through this together, I won't leave you and I'll do everything possible to be well and the baby to be well and to wear it!" I said and then it turned green and we went home.

Hailey's POV:

When we got home we sat on the couch and watched a movie. I went to the kitchen to prepare something to eat and felt sick and ran to the bathroom. I went into the bathroom and started vomiting then Jay came over and held my hair until it was over. When he finished, I flushed the toilet and sat on the floor, and he sat next to me, "Are you okay?" "It's just that the baby makes me vomit and it's not pleasant!" "Can I help with something?" "I don't think you can!" Come on, you need to rest! "I told him as I got up," I know, but I'm resting now! " "It's not the way you worry about me non-stop. I'm fine so I'll make popcorn and you choose a movie. Is it okay? "" As you say, miss! " he said and I smiled. We spent the whole day on the couch watching movies. I began to feel sleepy and could not keep my eyelids open.

Jay's POV:
I saw Hailey falling asleep on my shoulder, I didn't want to wake her, so I took the blanket next to the sofa and covered us, and a little later I fell asleep.
