The Next Day

Hailey's POV:

I woke up first and saw that Jay was still asleep. I heard a child cry, got up, and went to El's room. She was awake and hungry. I changed diapers and ate. Since it was a Saturday and we weren't at work today, I let Jay sleep. I played with Elle and decided to take her with me to the bedroom. I go in and go to bed, putting El between me and Jay. I started tickling her and she laughed at me. Jay woke up fifteen or twenty minutes later, "Good morning, sleepy!" I said, "Good morning, beautiful, how beautifully you slept!" "Okay?" "Good! How is the little princess!" "She fell asleep a while ago. We were both playing here and trying to wake you up!" "Right?" "Yes. I'll leave her in bed and come back!" "I agree! I left El in bed and went back to Jay." Okay, we have a little time before she wakes up! I said as I lay on it, didn't I? He said and kissed me. By the time we realized it was already afternoon and I was a little hungry. We heard a knock on the door.

Jay's POV:

"Hey, are you expecting anyone?" I asked in a slight horror in my voice, "Aren't you?" "No, take El well and stand behind me, is it okay?" I said, and she nodded. I opened the door and saw the man I never wanted to see again. Hailey's father. "What are you doing here?" Hailey's POV:

Jay's POV:

Hailey's POV:
When I woke up I was on the same floor and I couldn't move. I felt someone approach and open the door. "Look, the little princess has woken up!" Said my father. He climbed on top of me and started hitting me, "Please stop, please!" I said, "I will not stop, and I promise you will not see your daughter again!" He bought his trousers and raped me. Then I heard sirens in the distance and I knew who it was. Then my father hit me with a bat and I went crazy.

Jay's POV:

We reached the warehouse and Kevin broke down the door. I saw Hailey's father approach and point a gun at me but I shot him and he fell and then we started shouting, "Hailey where did you answer me?" I said and then I found a locked door. I kicked her and saw Hailey lying in a puddle blood unconscious ,, 5021 George I need an ambulance to my location we have an early cop, I repeat early cop! " I say on the radio. Shortly after I said that, everyone came to the room where Hailey and I were. "Jay, look!" Said Adam, pointing to the unbuttoned trousers. "I'm sure you wouldn't do that to your own daughter!" I said through tears. Two minutes later, Brett and Mackie came in and put Hailey on the stretcher. We put her in the ambulance and I went up to her. The trip to MED was short but I felt it like hours when I watched Hailey like that. We arrived and Natalie, Maggie, Ethan and Connor were waiting for us, "Okay, get her in room 3!" Maggie said, "Natalie?" "Yes!" "Do a rape test, too!" "Okay!" They pulled her in and pulled back the curtains. "Hey Jay!" said Will as he entered with the rest of the team, "How is she?" he asked, "She's not well! She's not well!"
