Passive Aggressive Shopping
Despite the fact that the Todoroki Family had been pulled apart for decades, they still loved each other... for the most part. Rei was the most accepting when it came to the... amazing dad they'd had, but she understood that her kids would have to decide for themselves whether or not to accept Enji into their lives again, at any point. On the other side of the coin, every one of her children loved Rei with all their hearts.
Fuyumi was the first to find out that Rei was out and safe now and she dragged Natsuo right into the house with her when she finally tracked them down. Dabi (Or Toya, as he was begrudgingly starting to go by) had been in his room, secretly looking up hairstyles to try on Eri when two of his siblings that he hadn't seen since his dear old dad had started his torturous training burst into his room. It was a... memorable moment, and that didn't include Rei bursting in as everyone started to sob as they hugged.
Dabi had gone down a dark path, and he still harbored a huge grudge towards Endeavor, and his family understood that. So of course it was a good reunion.
Naoko was introduced to the family as Rei's adopted daughter, but she was either too shy or to apathetic to try and get to know them at all.
Shoto was a little harder. Only Dabi and Naoko knew about his brief stint as a traitor, so they weren't sure how to introduce the fact that Dabi was his brother, or that his Mom was safe, and living with the person he betrayed. It wasn't an easy moment, but at some point, Fuyumi decided that enough was enough.
She met him outside of school, basically blackmailing the Principle to let Shoto come see her (how she did that, no one knew, and Naoko was especially afraid to find out), before pulling him into an unmarked car and dragging him to the heroes home.
That had been... less pleasant.
Shoto about died when he saw Dabi there with both Naoko and his mom, and the shouting that occurred after that left even Naoko's ears ringing. It was emotional and accusatory, and way more than Naoko wanted to deal with, so she left. Shoto just kept yelling.
Honestly, no one could blame him... That is not right until the moment they found out he had sold his soul to Shigaraki, then it was Fuyumi who was lecturing. Basically, it was just not a very fun day.
However, that day opened up options for later, as was evident about two weeks after the initial meeting, when the Todoroki family went shopping.
Funnily enough, it was Natsuo and Toya who really pushed for the family to go out, but there was a lot to plan for. Natsuo was in college and was living in a dorm that Enji approved of, Fuyumi was still living in the main house, and Shoto was constantly terrified that he'd be pulled out of UA if even one thing went wrong. Out of the whole Todoroki family, Rei and Toya were the freest, and one of them was on Japans 10 most wanted list... so it was a sad situation.
That needed to change.
Maybe the family wasn't in the best situation to strike out on their own, but the three kids couldn't move in with Levi and Chris as well, the house was already full to the brim as it was.
"I mean... This is nice, but it doesn't make sense to have five bedrooms... isn't that excessive?"
Shopping for houses wasn't easy, but Natsuo had been secretly creating this alternate identity for years now, making sure to have really good credit so he could afford a loan to get out, to get away from his father in a way that couldn't be tracked.
Rei shook her head, "I get that, but it won't just be us. If that was the case, we could have two bedrooms and make it work. Toya, who else do you think will be coming here?" The woman was on a mission. Her days of sitting in the same room and never being able to have guests outside her family were over. She was quite nicely creating a new family, and she would be damned before she boxed herself back in.

Silence Destroyed (MHA)
FanfictionSilence is such a weird concept; it's the absence of sound is all, and yet people have such different reactions to it, some would prefer silence over people, some go nearly insane when forced into silence, and some people have no choice but to adapt...
