The door to Naoko's room crashed open with a bang, the vibration reaching her and quickly letting her know that she had visitors.
After more arguments than she would like, Naoko had finally forced the hospital to let her go. They insisted she needed to stay for observation purposes, saying something about her injuries possibly having unknown complications, but she insisted she needed to go. There was nothing the doctors could do for her.
Even Recovery Girl had stopped by and helped Naoko out as much as she could, the truth of the matter was that All Naoko needed now was lots of rest and to not be put in any more life-threatening situations.
Sure, being at the hospital meant that Naoko could keep on the quirk suppressing cuffs, but that wasn't enough reason to stay. Tsugaramae had made it quite apparent that he wanted to interrogate Naoko at some point, and whether Tsukachi was there or not meant nothing. Naoko wanted to be left alone by idiots and that simply wasn't an option at the hospital.
Hasame also seemed to be glad that Naoko was home. The young woman forced herself to not be clingy,. but she couldn't deny that there was a bit of anxiety that filled her when Naoko wasn't home.
Would she even come home alive next time?
No. Hasame couldn't think like that. If she did, any sanity she had left would disappear. Rei was right. Naoko was smart.
However, when nearly an entire class of teenagers showed up at her door, she couldn't help but sigh. Neither she nor Naoko were socialites, both preferring their own company over others usually, but the look of worry on literally everyone's faces stopped her from shutting the door in their faces.
It helped that the kids who tried to rescue Naoko in Kamino were there right in front.
"Naoko?" Hasame asked, trying to force back her exhaustion from the lack of sleep, hoping that these kids would understand what she meant. The green-haired one... Man... she knew his name at one point... It was either Deku or Izuku... One or the other, stepped forward, his face bright and innocent, "Yes, Sorry to burst in here, but we went to the hospital to visit her, but the front desk told us she had been released early?"
"They didn't look too damn happy about it either." Ah, it was the blond pomeranian. Despite everything that had happened, she really liked the kid, he was spunky enough to get shit done, even if he was a little shit head. Their short time working together only cemented that idea.
Hasame shook her head pityingly, "Yeah... I get that. Naoko's never loved the hospital, and the staff has a hard time telling her no."
Understatement of the year.
At least Rei didn't join in on Naoko's quest this time. Those two were far more dangerous together than they should be.
Katsuki only snorted and looked away as Shinso rolled his eyes.
The purple boy had made it a point to talk to the nurse Chitani since Kamino and boy did the happy nurse have stories to tell. Shinso about died when he heard about the warpath both Rei and Naoko had gone on a few months ago just so Hasame could stay with them after hours.
It almost made him forget that his parents had basically placed him under quarantine (wheeze) because of the stunt he pulled by going to Kamino.
Anyways, he could absolutely see Naoko going on a warpath through the hospital to get out, even if he hadn't spoken to Chitani, the girl just had a presence like that.
Hasame, seeing that simple reassurance wasn't going to get the group to go away, she reluctantly stepped to the side, "Naoko's room is the first door on the left. She's not allowed out of bed, so just go in."
