Hey, I just wanted to say, before anything else, thank you all so much for waiting so patiently for new chapters. I know I've never been the... most consistent updater, and I really do appreciate you sticking by me as I chug through, fighting newly discovered neurodivergencies, gay panic, religious family, and trauma.
I know how hard it can be to wait for chapters when you're really invested in a story, so thank you.
Now, on to the news that I'm sure no one wants to hear, I know I don't. I'm going on... (drumroll please)
A quick HIATUS!!!
Don't worry, this isn't going to be a year or anything, I hope, but you know how life has been crazy? Yeah? Well, it's not being nice to me right now.
Thanks to the realization that I'm either asexual or gay, I made the absolutely sucky decision to break up with my loving and amazing boyfriend and face the wrath of my family to move across the country.
All within this last week!
I need to find a place that is a little more inclusive and diverse because believe me, sleepy little conservative Idaho ain't it.
But thanks to that and being off any ADHD meds, it's hard for me to get out of bed and work on a resume. Right now, writing isn't something I can devote time to, let alone produce content I feel is good enough to publish.
This won't be forever. I need to write, fiction is in my blood and I fucking love creating the stories you guys read (thank you again, seriously, depression is real, and reading your comments made my life), but I also need to focus on moving to a new situation and getting my feet under me.
Hopefully, I'll be back in a few months, tops, but just know I'm here. If you have questions, want me to deconstruct some scenarios with you (a.k.a. tell you what would happen if AFO got pulled into the SDS world or any other idea you might have), or need reassurance for anything, I'll be here, reading your comments and DM's, if you feel so inclined.
