The next night denki was the first one on the roof, once izuku got to roof and spotted the familiar figure sitting close to the edge. "kaminari~kun" izuku asked and denki turned his head to look at him " hey midoriya" denki said, but it wasn't in his usual happy tone. It was droopy, bored and emotionless.

Izuku sighed quietly and he sat by denki, "kaminari~kun" izuku said " hm?" Denki asked "I-uhm-I never actually asked why you were on the roof yesterday" izuku asked and denki sighed then he looked up. " they forgot about me......again which really isn't a problem it just hurts so I came to the roof to clear my mind" denki said simple. Izuku stared at denki as denki slipped into his thoughts, izuku was beyond confused on how denki spilled himself out to him in one question but also so secretive if you really looked at it.

"Why-why" izuku couldn't find the right words for it honestly, but it was enough to catch denki's attention. "Why what" denki asked, but izuku shook his head " I know you trust me so maybe that's why" izuku muttered but stopped when he caught denki shaking his head from the side of his eye, "well I trust you with my life-but when you wish for so long for someone to ask what's wrong when you have the chance too finally say something you do" denki said look izuku in the eye. Izuku didn't like how that sounded, denki trusted them with his life but not his problems.

"What do you mean by again" izuku asked and denki looked back at the sky, "I'm a show and tell once the show is over I'm forgotten until the next show" denki explained to izuku. Izuku almost gasped he didn't like how that sounded especially coming from denki, but if he was to think about it.

Would it be a lie?

Izuku didn't know what to say, what could HE say to assure kaminari that wasn't who he was and that's not how people viewed him. Izuku knew it would make much effort because it never did, it never helped to hear it from the person who didn't do it nor had anything to do with it. so izuku just stayed quiet deciding that silence was the best answer for right now. Which denki greatly appreciated on the inside.

"I never asked why you came up here tonight" denki said out of the blue " well it was because I never got to ask you why you were up here" izuku said an denki nodded, " that was gamble" denki said and izuku shrugged " yet I still won" izuku said which made denki snort, izuku smiled feeling proud of himself. Denki mood was droopy and sad these last two nights and izuku hasn't seen denki smiled not once so this little accomplishment felt good.

Time passed and soon it was almost sunrise, the two decided to say their goodbyes and go back to their dorms, and if they felt a little bit better than when first went on The roof well that was their business.

And if they went there the next couple of nights

That would also be their business.
