Unpredictable duo

chapter 21

third person pov

denki sat his floor with his phone in his hand, luckily he was one to distracted quickly so something on his phone was there to get his mind off of things. no one came to check on him all night, even though he didn't really expect it really. but he was hungry and was actually craving a pizza.

He wanted some pizza

Denki was out of his in seconds ready to pounce on whoever had the pizza. He followed the smell of the pizza, until he finally met the beholder, and he regretted it.

Denki pov
I just wanted pizza, not shinsou and pizza. Well that's kind of a lie but the way he's looking at me tells me he would want anyone but me here. But playing it off cool is my style, "hey shinsou" I said offering him a wave. "Hi kaminari" he said, now I had a choice a opportunity even, and I wanted to take it. "That's a pretty big pizza you got there" I said giving him a smile, he gave me a knowing look and raised his eyebrow and my heart skipped a beat. He was about to say something but he got a notification on his phone, I could tell it was a specific ringtone. He quickly grabbed his phone and read the message, he frowned but turned his phone off. "Very big, and it looks like I might be eating it by myself" he said.
Here's my ducking chance
"I can help you eat it" I said quickly, but that sounded wrong "pause" I added on. Which made shinsou chuckle, "sure" he said which surprised me honestly. He walked past me to my dorm, and I'm not gonna lie I stood stuck for a good minute. Shinsou acts like he absolutely hates me so I wonder what changed because of it.

Shinsou bent over laughing, and at this point I think he might be high. This wasn't like him really, and if it was this wasn't him around me. And something just did not sit right for me, "hey shinsou im gonna go get some more drinks real quick stay here" I said getting up dusting myself off, while I got up shinsou watched me quietly. "What you feeling soda, juice, water?" I asked looking at him, shinsou nodded "grape soda" he said and I nodded " I might be a minute though you can play on my council in the mean time" I added before I left the room.

And I went to the coms to see my classmates, and I needed one of them and I needed to act fast. I looked around the room for the perfect candidate, I didn't want to do the two powerhouses of the school, I have to do someone small and discreet. And after a bit of looking I found the right person. I silently made my way towards him, until I was standing in front of the Baku squad "sero can I talk to you real quick" I said untrusting their conversation. It was a little rude but I didn't have time to really be nice. He gave me a confused look but got up non the less, I turned around walking towards a bit more secluded space. "Wassup denks are you okay?" He asked me, which made me feel a bit happy that he was actually kinda worried about me. "Actually I need your help" I said in a hurry "shinsou is in my room....things is I don't think that's shinsou shinsou and I need to inform aizawa without any worries from possible fake shinsou" I explained in a hush toned.

In moments like these I wish my friends doesn't always think I cry wolf. "Are you sure" he asked me, which irritated me but non the less I nodded at him. He stared at me for a moment, one we didn't have. If my suspicion was right standing here is not going to do anything about. Then he smiled "nah man I don't believe it this could be one of your pranks" sero said with a chuckle. And with that I gave up on him, and walked away. I tried a few more people, like jirou, uraraka hell even tokoyami yet they all thought the same, that I was playing some kind of sick joke. And I don't know why they all thought I would stoop this low in the first place.

They must have thought I would have went to midoriya or something. But that would be expected. I looked around the room again, I can't keep him too long. "Hey denks" I turned around to see who was talking to to me and it was ojiro. "Ojiro please help me" I immediately said, "okay sure" he said. "Here please get a grape soda and bring it to shinsou he's in my room" I said quickly not even explaining. Ojiro gave me a confused look "but...shinsou hates grape anything" ojiro looked at me confused, I nodded my head eagerly "I know that is why I need to get to aizawa" I said and before he could say anything I added on "please just do this for me, no one is believing me and I've been gone for a good five minutes already" and with that ojiro closed his mouth and nodded which put me at ease.

I ran towards the staircase, since the Elevator would be too slow for me, all the way the sensei's office. Who was sitting there looking bored like I need him too, "sensei, I think something happened to shinsou and toga was able to obtain his blood somehow and impersonate him" I said before he could even ask why I was in here. sensei was on his feet immediately walking, "what do you mean" he asked as he walked towards the dorm " I mean I saw him coming inside the building and 1 he invited me to eat with him, 2 he was really expressive and smiley and three when I asked if he wanted something to drink he said grape" sensei completely came to a stop and looked at me, then he took off running.

For some reason I decided not to follow him, all my classmates are up there and my teacher I didn't need to. I felt like I was forgetting something, something important. I racked my brain, then it clicked.

"FUCK. Where's shinsou"

Third person pov
Denki ran towards the main exit, if that was the fake shinsou where was the real one? He has no idea of what he's saying is even true and that shinsou is just being nice? He would be making yet another complete fool of himself once again. But denki thought if the fact that he could be wrong and embarrassed instead of sorry and right.

Once he was outside of UA he didn't know where to go. He looked down the streets but he had no idea where the hell to go, denki thought of the pizza box 'shinsou' was carrying, where it was from. Denki remembered the big red "dasho's" sign, he went there a couple times his self but he didn't know if toga used pizza as a distraction or did shinsou go get pizza. "Either way it's a good place to start" denki said to his self, then he started running towards the direction 'dasho's'

The run felt like the longest thing of denki's life, but he saw the pizzeria and the dark corners around it. And denki mindlessly went into a dark alleyway.
As he walked down the alleyway and decided that he would search each and every one before he left.  And hope with every bone in his body shinsou wasn't dead. he was almost at the end of the alleyway, which was gonna make him turn back. "Meow" denki looked down to see a black cat, and the cat looked like it nudged something with its nose.
