"Can we please go to the beach?" Tina nagged Skye on the breakfast table, an idea brewing up amongst the squad since Peely and Meowscles were interested too.

Skye on the other hand was uninterested and she continued to focus on her comic book. "I don't think that will be a good idea."

"But we need the break." Tina sighed.

"I don't think so." Brutus, who pretended as if he was not listening, threw in his remark as he sipped onto his coffee while reading the newspaper.

Just as their quarrel was ongoing, Olivia entered the room and joined the crowd for breakfast. "Good morning."

"Good morning Olivia!" Tina jumped up brightly to welcome her. "Have a good sleep?"

"Surprisingly, yes." Olivia was astonished by how chirpy Tina was early in the morning, while the others were dull compared to her. "Where is Midas?"

"He went on an urgent business trip." Brutus answered as he folded his newspaper. "But he will be back within a couple of hours."

She sat down on the chair while Brutus pushed an empty cup towards her. He poured some freshly brewed coffee for her before standing up and walking away from the table with the coffee kettle. Olivia sipped onto the coffee and felt almost instantly energised, but she felt the lack of something. The lack of seeing Midas. "When exactly will he be back?"

"Brutus did say a couple of hours. It's already been awhile since he left so maybe one or two more hours? He didn't tell us where he's off to." Just as Tina finished her sentence, the main door of the room fluttered open and the eccentric footsteps that were familiar to everyone's ears were heard. The sound made all the heads turn and gaze at the door to find the boss of the Agency himself.

"You're back?" Tina chuckled.

"Yes. Why?" He continued walking and made his way to the map table where he started analysing the map.

While everyone was surprised by the fact that Midas was back so quick, Olivia couldn't help but feel flustered. The way his suit coat was draped around his shoulders like an accessory rather than an outerwear, his one hand in the pocket, his tattooed arms still bright and flashy, it was all so mesmerising for her and she couldn't stare at him without feeling warm. She averted away her gaze quite a few times but this was only in vain since her eyes would revert back to him.

"I will be heading back to my room." She stood up and attempted to dart out, but was stopped by Tina.

"Didn't you say you wanted to speak to Midas?" Tina asked, and she was loud since everyone looked at Olivia after her question, even Midas.

Her cheeks flushed and she bit her lower lip before exclaiming. "I most certainly did not. I was just asking where he is." With this, she rushed out of the door and ran as fast as she could to her room.

Midas stood dazed, his eyes on Tina as he searched for an answer but she shrugged at him. "What was that?" He whispered to himself as he shook his head and tried to direct his thoughts onto the map.

"Boss, when are we launching operation for the retrieval of the intel case at dirty docks?" Brutus approached Midas almost unnoticeably.

This made Midas give out a sigh. "We must do it tonight, or else it will be too late."

"I suggest we send Tina or Skye. Both of them have been out of practice for way too long." Brutus advised and he wasn't wrong. Midas realised how Tina had always come up with excuses to avoid any sort of missions, while Skye was always forgettable because of how quiet she was all the time but this time, there was no way out for them. They had been at ease for way too long.

"Skye and Tina, you're both going for a mission tonight. Retrieve the intel case at the dirty docks." Midas gave the order in his stern voice, the same voice to which not a single soul could reply with a 'no.'

Both the girls knew they could not refuse, but at least one of them was excited. Skye was thrilled since she was bored and tired of waiting to be appointed for a mission, meanwhile Tina was irked because she wished for an extended and endless leisure.

"Now let me check on that other one. Not a day goes by without her complaining about the Agency." Midas grumbled and stomped out of the room, his coat still on his shoulder. As he was walking through the corridor, he realised how the scent of the Agency had changed ever since Olivia arrived. It smelled calming, almost pleasant and delicate, which was very contrasting in comparison to her personality. She was chaotic, vexing and painfully hard to please. Just the thought of her made Midas's head ache. Yet, whenever he looked at her, he'd feel the need to comfort her and protect her.

He soon reached Olivia's room where he knocked on the door before entering. Olivia stood next to the tiny window in her room, staring at the lush greenery outside of the Agency and wondering where exactly this place was. The city wasn't this clean, so it must've been on the outskirts. However, she knew it was not the time to think about this and she turned around to face Midas. "What brings you here?"

"Are you upset again?" He questioned, casually crossing his arms against his chest.

She shook her head. "No, not at the moment. But I've been curious. Where were you?"

"I won't hide it from you." He replied. "I went to meet your grandmother."

This stunned Olivia and her jaw dropped gradually. She could not formulate the words to utter and her body failed to make any movement. "My gran, why?"

"Didn't I tell you? We're old friends." He smiled as lightly as possible but in contrast to his expression, Olivia had an agitated look on her face, as if she was frustrated by him.

She sighed and flopped down on her bed casually, ignoring the decorum one should have in front of their boss and looked at him. "I don't like you."

He laughed. "Of course you don't. Is that why you were asking around for me during breakfast? About when I'll be back?" He pulled out his phone and played the video out loud.

It was a video recorded during the breakfast, with all the agents surrounding the table and Olivia asking Tina the question about Midas's return. This shocked her. She hadn't expected Midas to be spying on his own agents and it angered her.

"What gives you the right to-"

"Now now, in case I didn't mention before, the Agency is equipped with thousands of surveillance cameras. The personal rooms are the only places without them. Anything you do outside of your room, be sure of the fact that you are being watched." He put away his phone in his pocket and crossed his arms around his chest. "Speaking of which, my agents really do need a break. How about we plan a trip?"

Olivia, who was still dumbfounded, played with her fingers and cleared her throat. "I couldn't care any less about the trip. Plan it with TNTina, she was very excited about a trip to the beach."

"I asked you, not her." He paced closer to her. "Come on Olivia, you know you want to move away from here for awhile."

"I really do." She mumbled. "Fine, I'll help you plan a trip but you have to bring Sig and his friends back here because they will be going on the trip with us."

Without hesitating, Midas gave a nod. "Deal. Meet me in my office in a bit, Peely and Meowscles will be there too." He turned around but as he was about to leave, he stopped and questioned Olivia. "Do those two still scare you?"

This made Olivia pause for a moment. She recalled how terrified she was when she saw Meowscles and Peely. They seemed like an oddity to her but now, they seemed as normal as anyone else. "They don't. I like them."

Midas smiled lightly and left the room.
