That night, Olivia could barely close her eyes. She lay on her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, unable to fidget or even move a limb. However, life goes on. The moon vanished and allowed the sun to take over the canvas that we call the sky, and this widely spread canvas allowed the rays of the sun to enter the little window in Olivia's room, giving her strength and hope. "This time shall pass too." She reassured herself and sighed.

"Olivia, good morning. Please join us for breakfast." The voice com allowed Midas's voice to bring Olivia to her senses and she replied with a simple "good morning."

She hurriedly washed her face and left her room before heading towards Midas's office. He waited for her outside his office and upon seeing her arrive, he tried to smile but it wouldn't appear on his face since his muscles were not used to pulling up his lips into a large grin. However, he did smirk lightly. "Did you sleep well?"

"Do you think so?" She grumbled while walking beside him.

"Should I get your bed changed? Or perhaps the room itself?" He questioned.

"No. Not really. I'll get used to it." She sighed. "Where are we going?"

"The spy base. You're an agent now, so it's only fair to show you our little hideout. It's where we all gather as a team, plan our missions, or just observe files. In other words, it's our hangout place, as you teenagers would say."

"Well, that's clearly not what we normal people do when we hangout." Olivia let out her thought, but Midas ignored her little scoff.

He changed the topic immediately. "Do you eat eggs or cereals?"

"I eat anything that gran makes for me."

"Your gran is an excellent cook, but unfortunately, I can't provide you with what she cooks for you. However, we have cereals, and eggs if Brutus is making them."

"You never told me, how exactly do you know gran? Don't give me vague answers." She stared at his face with curiosity bubbling inside of her.

He raised his eyebrows and glimpsed at her. "You look a lot like Mari, but you don't act like her. I will tell you one day, but here's something you should know for now, she would have wanted this for you, to join the Agency."

"Don't call her Mari so casually, her name is Marigold. Please show her some respect."

"She never liked me calling her Marigold." Midas smirked. "And look, we're here."

He pushed open the door and entered the room with a large circular holographic map in the centre, similar to the one in Midas's room except larger. All the agents were waiting there. Skye was noting down pointers on a black board, Tina was sitting beside the map playing with her grenades, Brutus was setting up the breakfast on a table in a corner and the rest were waiting to grab the food.

"Good morning boss." Almost everyone greeted him but he moved his eyes over to Olivia, making the others realise they should greet her as well.

"Good morning Olivia." Tina and Skye said in a unison, but with different tones. The others were quick to follow as well.

"Make yourself comfortable." Brutus plainly passed Olivia an empty plate and pointed at the table he had set up, a table containing two boxes of cereals and a jug of milk, along with two hard boiled eggs and a carton of orange juice.

This little table perplexed Olivia, but again, she remembered what Midas, who was diligently observing the map, scrolling through it and taking notes on his tablet, said to her about the breakfast. She was surprised at how he wasn't hungry unlike the others. She grabbed herself a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice before sitting down next to Maya, who was engrossed in her tablet. "Will I be getting one of these too?"

Olivia's question caught Maya by surprise, as she hadn't noticed her presence next to her. She nodded with a light smirk and went back to focusing on the screen, while Olivia began to eat.

Midas, on the other hand, turned more and more grim as he got deeper into his observations. He tried to conceal his expression but Brutus caught a glimpse of it and he knew something was wrong, hence he decided to join his boss.

"Boss, what's wrong?" Brutus whispered.

Midas looked at Brutus and shook his head. "I can't think of a plan to take down the latest meeting of the ghost agents. It's risky. They're meeting up at a fortified hideout with a heavy security, and attacking them would be a silly choice. Drones are being stationed by them so that they can get all the alerts about who enters the surrounding area. They have prepared well this time."

Brutus remained composed because he had been a part of much dire situations than the one Midas described. However, he knew that their success wasn't always guaranteed. "Boss, since Maya is already leaving for a mission tonight, the only other way to infiltrate their hideout secretly is to send another spy in disguise."

"They know all of our faces." Midas turned to stare at the map again.

"But they don't know Olivia." These words that were said by Brutus rang through Midas's ears and he immediately shot him a cold glance.

He felt his blood boiling just by this mere idea and his reaction was something Brutus wasn't expecting. "I am already having a hard time convincing that girl to stay, and you're telling me to send that incompetent mutt on a mission right away?"

"Boss, I know. But think about it. This is about getting the intel. We need to do anything we can."

Midas stared at her from afar, noticing how she was struggling to converse with the other agents, her distress clearly visible. But again, Brutus was right. The intel mattered more than her, and since she was already skilled when it came to being sneaky, Midas realised sending her would be the right choice. "I'll talk to her."

His response pleased Brutus, who went ahead and joined the other agents for breakfast. The only dilemma haunting Midas now was speaking to her regarding this subject and he dreaded it because he could clearly imagine her reaction once this matter found a way to her ears. At the same time, he didn't want to delay it. He noticed her peculiar manners as she mixed her bowl of cereal with orange juice rather than milk, and how she quietly chewed on her food while the others were jolly around her. He continued observing until she finished her bowl, and that was his cue to walk towards her. "Might I have a word with you, Olivia?"

She nodded and left the table to follow him towards the map table. "Will you completely hate me if I sent you on a mission tonight?" He questioned impatiently.

Her face turned grim but she wasn't surprised. She had prepared herself already and this was the moment she was waiting for. "You'd be glad to know that I won't. What do I have to do?"

There was a moment of silence where Midas was stunned and he stared at Olivia in disbelief. He did not have to waste his energy on brainstorming words to convince her, this was something that intrigued him and this was also the source of his speechlessness. He hadn't expected her to accept the mission so easily.

"Well, it's not quite simple." He cleared his throat. "The ghost agents and henchmen are having a meeting over here, at one of their safe houses." His golden finger went on to point at the location on the map. "But it's a well guarded one. There's drones awaiting intruders, the henchmen are on their guard, they won't spare a single outsider who steps on their territory. However, you're a sneaky one. You'll disguise as one of the ghost agents and step on their grounds. I want to know anything and everything about their meeting, their talks, their plans, everything. They might reveal the place where they're guarding one of their intel cases."
