A year earlier...

In 2017, The United States Soccer Association are in a press conference with the news, admitting that they are going to have a "change up" in the United States Women's National Soccer Team. The United States Women's National Team are in the same press conference, along with their soccer team's coach Jill Ellis.

"Do you agree with this?" said a manager of the United States Soccer Association, as he looks at the players and Coach Jill. As cameras lights are flashing at them.

The coaches and the players from The United States Women's National Team, nodded yes.

"Yes or no?" said the same manager.

"Yes." said Alex Morgan as she spoke into the microphone and looked at her teammates and the coach. "We had all agreed with this a few years ago, and we hope that this can help girls from the new generation to have a chance to play with us. We think that a girl from the age of 18 - 28, would be the right age to come and play with us."

"Yes, but why?" said the same manager, again as he looks at the team. "Is there any other reason?"

Crystal Dunn then grabs her microphone.

"What my teammate Alex Morgan is trying to say is that. We want a girl from the age of 18 to 28, to have a taste of experience, of what we women face on the field." said Crystal Dunn, as she looks at the manager. "We want the girl to play with us on the team, and to get to know us, and give her the opportunity to take a challenge outside of her comfort zone."

"We would like to give her a chance, and show her that she could do more, than just be part of this team." said Allie Long

"What if the winner isn't eligible to play with you girls, because she is ineligible to play?" said the same manager, as he looks at them. "Because she is for example... Younger like at the age from 5 to 17?"

"We got an answer to that question." said Coach Jill Ellis. "We have decided that if the winner of the golden ticket is younger, then what the requirements are... Then the kid has to be accompanied by an adult, even though she won't be playing with us on the field, then she will just get to see us play, watch us practice, and travel with us. Along with getting a soccer jersey signed by the whole team."

The sounds of cameras snapping pictures are then heard as the sound of silence enters the conference room.

"Alright then." said, the same manager. "We can all agree to this, that the winner of a lucky cereal ticket can join you girls, on your route to your soccer summer season. And she has to be at the age of 18 or 28 in order to be eligible to play. Is that correct?"

"Yes." said the players and Coach Jill

"And you ladies agree on the terms." said the same manager.

"Yes." said the players and Coach Jill

"Okay, the cereal brand Tiger Flakes will be in charge of putting the golden winning ticket into one of their cereal boxes." said the same manager. "Since the Tiger Flakes cereal brand supports school sports and other sports as well. The cereal boxes will be sent around the United States. However, we are going to do the same thing for the United States Men's National Soccer Team, but we want to see how well it will go for you ladies. If the event is a complete success, we will try it for the men's team as well."

The manager then signals to another manager, who is a woman. After the conference was over, everyone got up from their seats.

"Congratulations! Our management team has agreed to your plan!" said the manager woman, as she stood up from her seat and clapped, giving the team her positive attitude. "It was a rough decision, but I'm pretty sure that it's going to be a delightful choice! I wish you all the best in your summer season!"

The manager who was a woman was standing next to Sam Mewis, Lynn Williams, Tobin Heath, and Carli Lloyd.

"Thank you, that means a lot." said Sam Mewis, as she shakes hands with the women manager.

"Hopefully, we can get this started soon." said the woman manager. "I can't wait to meet her!"

"Neither do we." said Lynn Williams, who was standing next to Sam Mewis. "Our teammates have been waiting for this moment."

"For quite a long time." said Tobin Heath, who was standing next to Lynn Williams. "But you finally approved of it."

"I know." said the woman manager, as she looked at all four of them.

"So, all we have to do is just wait." said Carli Lloyd, who was standing next to Tobin Heath.

"Yes, we have to wait and see who our lucky winner is going to be." said the woman manager. "And have patience."
