The next day, in the stadium's locker room, before the game, Crystal has music inside of the locker room. As Coach Jill enters the locker room along with Coach April and other trainers, Coach Jill then gives the team a pep talk. Coach Jill also reveals that they are going to put in Maire for only a few minutes in the second half of the game. The girls then leave to the field along with the coaches and trainers. While in the (USWNT vs Japan game), Maire is put into the game only for a few minutes.
During the game, Tirena steals the ball away from Yuika Sugasawa, and later passes the ball to Emily. Emily later passes the ball to Carli, who later passes the ball to Sam. Sam later passes the ball to Maire, who makes an assist as she helps Rose make a goal. After the ball is kicked across the field by Japan's goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita, the ball is then kicked by Becky who passes the ball to Abby who passes the ball to Lindsey, who later passes the ball to Alex. Alex then scores a goal a few minutes later. A few more minutes later, Aya Sameshima passes the ball to her teammate Emi Nakajima, who scores. After the ball is kicked by Jane Campbell, Carli then kicks the ball to Alex, who kicks the ball to Lynn, who passes the ball to Maire who scores. As the game ended, the USA then defeated Japan 3 - 1.
The next day, the girls then prepare themselves for their game against Canada in practice.
"That was one heck of a win!" said Alex, as she turned to Maire and Rose who smiled.
Alex then passes the ball to Rose, who starts to juggle it.
"Yeah, thanks to Carli, Sam, Becky, Emily, and Lynn." said Maire, as she looks at both Alex and Rose. "It was a team effort."
"Yup." said Alex as she smiled.
"Are you girls, ready for tomorrow?" said Tobin, as she and Sam walked towards them.
Rose then passes the ball to Sam, who also starts to juggle it as well.
"Yeah, are you." said Alex, as Rose and Maire nodded.
"Obviously." said Tobin
"Yeah," said Sam, as passes the ball to Maire.
Alex, Rose, Sam, Tobin, and Maire made a circle and juggled the ball to each other. Just then, a whistle is then heard.
(USWNT vs Canada), In the first half of the game, Maire is sitting along next to Kelley, Andi, and Lynn on the sideline. After seeing that Allysa Chapman trips Lindsey on the field, before she could pass the ball to anyone else, Kelley then starts to yell at the player close to the sideline where they were.
"Kelley, calm down," said Lynn, as she looked at Kelley.
Kelley then calms down, after Lynn told her to do so. However, Kelley, Lynn, and Maire then started to yell after seeing a bad call on the USA team.
"Oh, come on Ref!" said Kelley, Lynn, and Maire.
"That wasn't even a foul!" said Maire
"Yeah." said Lynn, as she, Maire and Kelley looked back at the field.
Just then, Sophie Schmidt then scores a goal for Canada.
"What!" said Kelley
"Oh come on." said Lynn
After a few more minutes, Christen then scores a goal.
"Yes!" said Kelley, as she cheered.
"Yes, yes, Christen, for the goal!" said Lynn, as she cheered
"Aw yeah!" said Maire, as she cheered.
"We're tied for now." said Kelly
A few minutes later, Lindsey then gets an assist by Mal after she passes the ball to her. Lindsey then scores a goal.
