'It wasn't all that you thought it was!' ~ Alex Turner Fanfiction

2013: Part 5

Jasmine had been the happiest she had been in months, she spoke to Matt everyday...she sometimes spoke to Alex but he always had some excuse not to talk. Jasmine knew Alex was trying to ignore her after he kissed her but she didn't mind because she knew it wouldn't last for long. Almost two weeks later Jasmine had her first performance in Les Miserables, turns out the person playing Eponine had to drop out meaning they needed someone to play Eponine and they asked Jasmine to play her temporarily. She knew Matt was coming to see her and this time he actually was because he was bringing Breana and there was no way she was going to let him miss it. Today was the only day they had one show and it was the 19:30 show.

Jasmine was with her fellow cast members on the stage going through any changes before the show and doing the warm up when Jasmine got a text from Breana.

Bre 12:45pm:

'Hey JazJaz, I can't wait to see you later. We all miss you...may or may not be bringing a full house except some loud cheers lol. Xx''

Jaz 12:47pm:
'Hey Bre, I can't wait to see you either. Do you mean you're all coming to see it. Like the rest of the band...if so, dear god help us all :'D! Xx'

"Jasmine.....do you want to go get lunch?" A young voice spoke from beside her.

"Uh yeah sorry....Sam...Let me just grab my bag from the dressing room!" Jasmine stood up and ran to the shared dressing room. She quickly glanced at her phone to see a reply from Breana.

Bre 12:50pm:

'Yes! Me, Matt, Jamie, Katie, Nick, Kelly, Mariella, Luke, Tom and Alex! They all promised they would behave but I doubt they will lol! Xx'

Jasmine smiled at her phone and replied with a quick 'Can't wait Xx' and then ran to the stage door.

"Jasmine Dawson....slow as always!" Samantha joked.

"I'm sorry I had to text my cousin's fiancee!" Jasmine apologised.

"It's fine Jaz you don't have to say sorry it's funny!" Samantha opened the door to see people waiting to meet them but the security guards came and told them they had to wait until after the show.

"So where are we going?" Jasmine asked when they crossed the road in front.

"Only Pret, just thought it'd be good to get out!" Samantha replied, "I hope that's ok!"

"Perfect!" Jasmine skipped a little, grabbed Samantha's hand and kissed it.

"I can't wait to tell people tonight!" Samantha smiled.

Samantha and Jasmine had been talking for a while....they started talking when Jasmine had her first rehearsal. Jasmine asked Samantha on a date a few nights before they went to Glastonbury but they became official a few days after...they just hadn't told anyone yet.

They had five minutes before the show started and Jasmine just had to check the audience.....after last time Matt and Alex came to see her in a show. Jasmine looked through the curtain to see Alex being bombarded by young girls but you could tell he was trying to tell them to go away in the politest way possible and sitting next to Matt on the aisle seat.

"So they are here then!" Samantha whispered from behind her, Jasmine felt two arms wrap around her and a chin rest on her shoulder, "I'm so happy for you Jasmine!" Jasmine turned around to face Samantha and quickly kissed her.

"Come on...we should go!" Jasmine quickly kissed Samantha again.

"You're right..I love you!" Samantha whispered.
