LINA'S POV |

I looked at myself in the mirror just to make sure that I was pleased with how I look. I grabbed my bag off the counter and say goodbye to Nick who was making himself some breakfast.

"Wait so are you actually going to school or are you going to Dooley's house again," Nick asks as I'm about to head out.

"Uhh... both," I say whilst opening the door.

"You know I'm starting to think you would rather spend time with them than with me."

"Oh but I do."

He pouts and then just signals at the door.

I laugh and leave the house.

"See you later Nick."

lina's pov

the elevator opens and I find the 4 siblings, as well as Davenport, surrounded at the desk.

i walk over to them as they greet me and continue their conversation.

"okay guys, you have been trained to for all kinds of missions, but you are about to enter a soul bruising, confidence crushing, apocalyptic environment."

Davenport starts and taking a pause before finishing,

"high school."

i shake my head silently laughing.

he turns to look at the trio.

"Adam, Bree, your glitch test results are fairly stable."

Bree gets excited and smiles

"yes! i'm going to school!"

Adam also gets excited saying "i'm fairly stable."

i smile at them being happy for them.

I turn to look at Davenport and see him turn to look at chase with a worried expression.

"But Chase, I'm still concerned about your commando app."

Chase's smile fades away as I raise an eyebrow.

"Commando app? Do I want to know what that is?"

I say speaking up as well and looking at Davenport.

"Put on some underpants, we're going to school."

leo says beside me looking at chase weirdly.

Davenport shakes his head and starts explaining,

"no see in the face of an imminent threat, Chase's commando app kicks in and he becomes a fearless brute I like to call Spike."

he says grabbing onto chase's shoulders as chase just smiles.

I still look at him weirdly not being able to imagine chase being an aggressive person.

"it's kinda like a fight-or-flight thing, except I took out the flight part cause 'useless' and I replaced it with a testosterone level of like Tasmanian devil-wolverine-shark-lion hybrid that's mad."

he continues explaining while motioning his hands to seem like he was crushing something together. leo looks at his dad in amazement as I just look at him in shock.

"Don't worry, Mr. Davenport. I promise that Spike won't rear his ugly head."

Chase replies back reassuringly.

"Oh yeah? You mean like last Christmas when I made the mistake of giving Adam boxing gloves?"

I shake my head not wanting to think about what happened.
