1.1.2 | they threw the kids in the trash

LINA'S POV |

I got up earlier than usual in the morning because today was the day that Adam, Bree, and Chase were leaving. I quickly change in a hurry hoping that I didn't miss them leaving. I go down to the kitchen and to my surprise, Nick was already wide awake and having breakfast.

"Where are you going at this time?" he asks confused as I quickly grab a granola bar and make my way towards the door.

"Leo's house," I say turning the knob of the door before he walks in front of me and stops me.

"At this time? You usually wouldn't go this early," he says with an eyebrow raised as I laugh it off.

"It's cause his new siblings are leaving to go on.....vacation," I lied with a smile plastered on my face as he still didn't look convinced.

"Didn't they just get here?" he asks, referring to their first day of school being yesterday, as I push him out of the way and open the door.

"I don't need to explain myself to you, see you later," I reply as he just looks at me in disbelief before I shut the door and make my way over to their house.

As I get to the house, I make my way quickly towards the elevator to go down to the lab where leo was, trying to avoid seeing Davenport. Leo had told me that Davenport made an exception to let us go down into the lab since it was their last day here. I make it to the lab, still not being used to the high speed of the elevator, and see Adam, Bree, and Leo sitting sadly on the counter as Chase was still packing. It was awfully quiet in there since none of us were ready to say our goodbyes. I sit next to them on the counter and break the silence.

"What are you doing?" I ask with an eyebrow raised as Chase starts packing random office supplies that aren't even necessary.

He turns to face me, "If Davenport is gonna ship us off to some remote facility, then the office supplies are coming with us," he finishes tilting his head and throwing a pencil cup into the box he was holding and walking away from us.

We all turn to Bree as she sighs, "We just got our first taste of normal life, I was this close to getting a curfew which I was totally gonna break!" Bree says extending her fingers out and leaving a small space between them. She looks away disappointed.

"Ooh! But maybe when we get to wherever we're going, we'll meet a sassy lab chimp named Bobo who will take us on adventures and teach us how to love."Adam says cheering up from his gloomy mood.

"Or," Chase says jumping into the conversation, "maybe you'll make him angry and he'll mull you and snack on your fingers," he says with a small smile towards his older brother.

"Hey," Adam starts as he gets up from the chair he was sitting in, "I create the monkey fantasies around here," he says looking Chase directly in the eyes and pointing at him. Bree finally cracks a smile as Chase just raises his eyebrow as Eddy appears on the wall.

"Well kids, I hope you enjoyed your stay at Casa Davenport, I know I haven't," he says narrowing his eyes and lightly shaking his head at that last part, "Sayonara!" he finishes laughing as Bree looks up annoyed, Chase looks down and rolls his eyes and Adam just minds his own business eating his snack.

she sighs, "Eddy, I know we've never been the best of friends, but we're gonna miss you," she finishes cracking a small smile and looking over to her brothers. Eddy smiles as well.

"Aww, really?" he says as the trio quickly replied back.

"No!"

"We hate you!"
