LINA walks through the hallways, smiling politely at all her classmates who watched her go by. she put on her forced smile, pushing away the regretful thoughts she had. last week she had to deal with the phone phase. this phone phase made her dread waking up for class everyday. she now had to make sure she looked her 100% best at 8 am cause as soon as she stepped foot into MCHS, her classmates phones would be all up in her face.

"lina! please say hi to my friend."

"lina! please take a selfie with me."

"lina, fit check!"

"i told you guys lina morales goes to my school!"

"lina, can you do a quick tiktok with me."

"lina, you remember me from biology right?"

"lina, what's it like having such cool parents?"

"lina! lina! lina!" was all they said. thankfully, they got their snapchat selfies and their tiktok videos so this week was more silent for the young girl. she got a couple waves, lots of smiles and whispering (not sure if that was good or bad), some compliments, etc. even stephanie at that point had stopped giving her dirty looks. she simply became annoyed by the fact that she wasn't the most popular girl in school anymore. but as lina walked, she kept her aura at 1000. her parents had told her over a million times, be a people pleaser. one wrong move, and the public would be all over you so that's what she did. as she walked down the steps onto the main floor, she spotted adam and chase at the center bench. her forced smile slowly formed into a real one upon seeing the two. the newly found fame was something that the bionic friends couldn't really deal with so recently she felt a sort of separation from them around school. mostly because during passing period, she'd get stop every 30 seconds before she could even meet with them. as she approached them, she saw them talking to the new boy at school. he had moved here two weeks prior and she had seen him in the halls a couple times.

the boy played his electric guitar as the boys and lina watched. once he finished adam applauded him in awe.

"oh, sweet! look at your fingers go! it's like each one has a little brain of its own!" adam wiggled his fingers with a big smile on his face.

"haha, thanks," the new boy laughed awkwardly, "you know, you guys are the only people who have talked to me at this school. i hate being the new kid."

"yeah we used to be the new kids that no one talked to," chase looked up remembering before noticing lina making her way towards them, "now we're just the friends of the infamous evangeline that no one talks to."

chase grabbed onto lina's shoulders, turning her towards the new boy.

"i talk to you," lina smiled at the boy behind her as he rolled his eyes.

"well, i presume you must be the evangeline that everyone whispers about in the hallways," the new boy smiled at lina, surprisingly not knowing much about her.

"i go by lina, nice to finally meet you, you are..." lina extended her hand out to him politely as he took it.

"marcus," he filled in the blank as lina nodded.

"marcus," she repeated smiling.

"so what's it like suddenly having the world revolve around you," marcus teased her as she shook her head quickly.

"no.. you know how fame is. they will not give a fuck in 2 weeks," lina looked around to see all her classmates looking at her as they passed down the halls.

"well rest assured we always will," adam an arm around her neck as she smiled at the floor. once she looked back up, she saw leo approaching them.

"hey peeps, what's the dealeo," leo made his presence known, looking at the group.
