LINA stood there watching her mother and father reappear back in her life after many months. she was left speechless. she snapped back into reality once her mother pulled her into a tight warm hug and she embraced that magical feeling just like she did as a little girl.

alicia cups her daughter's face and feels overwhelmed with joy after finally seeing her daughter again and knowing that she's safe.

alexander follows behind his wife and embraces his daughter into a hug as well as lina hugs him back tightly and takes in his signature scent.

LINA'S POV |

"you told me you weren't coming back till next month!" i exclaim looking between the both of them in complete shock, still not processing that my parents were standing in front of me.

"and you told me you weren't seeing any boys. who's this adam and chase you're talking about? don't tell me you're in a love triangle." mom defends back as i slightly smile and roll my eyes.

"no ma, i.." i begin to explain but she cuts me off instantly gasping.

"lina, are you dating both of them?" she states waiting for my response as dad gasps and walks behind mom.

"alicia don't be crazy, lina would never do that!" he comes to my defense but instantly turns to me whispering,

"you wouldn't do that right?"

"dad no! they're my friends."

"friends? see that's how it starts but when you turn your back they're exchanging saliva." dad exclaims throwing his arm up as nick is dying of laughter in the corner. mom smacks dad's arm as she turns back to me to hear me out.

"no, they're leo's brothers." i state as they both look at me confused.

"leo has brothers?" they say in unison as i sigh knowing i'll have to explain the story to them differently.

"and a sister, but it's a long story." i state as they nod slowly as i shake my head having a million questions.

"but that's besides the point, why are you back so early?" i ask as my excitement dies down seeing the two exchange worried glances.

"i had a bad feeling lina." mom explains as she approaches me and i stare at her confused.

"a bad feeling? about what?" i ask once again as she looks back at dad before turning back towards me.

"about you. and it seems like i was right since nicky told me you've been getting injured quite frequently." she responds as i shake my head slightly laughing.

"it's nothing, i'm just having fun hanging out with my friends."

"so you're getting hurt around your friends?" she replies waiting for reassurance as my expression immediately changes.

"what?"

"you get hurt around your new friends?" she repeats as i frown at their sudden interrogation.

"i guess, but it's nothing that serious."

"lina, you need to stop seeing your friends for now." mom suddenly demands as i laugh in response.

"are you being serious right now?"

"lina, angel, we love you and we're doing what's best.."  dad begins to explain their actions as i cut him off.

"no! you disappear from my life for months and you come back to tell me who i can and can't hang out with?" i respond looking at them heartbroken as they look at each other with guilt.
