❝How will you escape, if you know that you are the chaos?❞

It had took a lot of convincing for Miracle to be in this position, but after Josie had finally gotten her to agree to let her help her, the brunette had her perched on the school's bathroom sink, legs dangling off of it as the youngest stood in between them.

Said girl's hands hovered over her array of tools; alcohol, water, aspirin, cotton balls, band aids, and all that she needed during her random nursing training.

Running a white wash cloth under the hot water, she delicately sponged at the wolf's face, wiping away a layer of dirt whilst the redhead looked down at it with wide eyes. She wasn't used to be taken care of.

Josette took the quadbrid's face in her hands, assessing the bags under her eyes and her hallowed cheeks. It had clearly been a rough few days for her.

Ira closed her eyes until she felt the pressure being removed from her face. Her skin looked softer and clear, but the purple halos beneath her glassy blue eyes were still prominent.

The dried blood which had seeped through her shirt made its fabric cling to her body and the Gemini siphoner internally cringed as she imagined the potential infection, its owner not caring about it since she knew that she would heal no matter how deep it is.

Smiling awkwardly as she pointed at it, Jo worried her lower lip between her teeth and Cami only frowned in return, "What?", she asked quietly, the youngest looking away for a second before turning back to her with a small blush.

"Can you take your shirt off?", she murmured, her palm covering her face in an effort to hide her embarrassment and Miracle laughed loudly, "What would Penelope say if she heard you?", she joked, tugging the fabric off nonetheless and wincing to herself as it dragged against her bruises.

It was a cycle that she seemed to be stuck in, every full moon, her abilities were always going crazy, whether it's her healing, the voices, or the dead people that would randomly pop out to say 'hello', and if she was to be honest, she hoped that somehow she could talk to her mother one more time.

Hands reaching for the wet cloth on the sink, Jo carefully wiped the dry blood on the redhead's chest, said girl squeezing tightly at the edge of the marble counter with a low growl, "Sorry", the brunette winced.

She could feel Miracle's warm breath on her head as she tended to her wounds and her abdomen would sink in with every sting she felt on the surface.

Her hand was placed on the quadbrid's side, keeping her steady and she took the liberty of gently rubbing circles on it to try and ease her of the pain that she couldn't imagine having and now that she thought about it, being ran over as a wolf looks way worst than as a human.

Without thinking, the brunette wrapped her arms around the wolf's waist and buried her head in her chest.

Camille groaned at the contact, feeling her bruises throb and Jo pulled away just as fast as she had dove in, "I'm so sorry", she apologized quickly, feeling her cheeks grow hot, embarrassed by the situation she had put herself in.

"No, no, no", Miracle stammered out in a rush, "Please, it felt nice", she assured, her arms parting to let the girl back into them, it was true, her embrace made her feel secure and warm. Even with the persistent pain of her injuries.
