She didn't know where to begin, though the beginning or more correctly the end of her life would probably be a good start. Her name was Cecile Rose, or at least it had been once. She was tall and lithe. She had blonde hair, deeply tanned skin, and the blue-green eyes of her Italian mother. She worked as an electrical engineer for a major company developing electric cars. She had been rising to the top of her field. Then it all went wrong.
Four years they had been together. They were supposed to be married in 5 weeks except there he was. Her fiancé who was also a fellow colleague on her most recent project was in their bed with an intern barely into her twenties. She was heartbroken by his betrayal and ran out of the apartment they shared unable to take they sight. She needed to get away and she supposed in a way she did considering she had died that night. She was only two blocks away when it happened. Cecile Rose died January 27, 2025 at 6:15 PM when a truck hit a patch of black ice while coming down the hill far too fast and slammed into the driver side of her car.
