PRAGMA

Early in the morning Lyra stood up in the city's harbor with her sister by her side as two hundred soldiers embarked, Lyra felt sad by the sudden departure of her sister and with only a few soldiers to bring with her in the battlefield against the unknown enemies.

"They said that there's a dragons to be seen in that foreign kingdom." Her sister said I a lighter tone that failed to calm and soothe Lyra's aching heart.

"Must you go? You've just arrived form another battle, why must you leave so soon? Can't it wait sister?" She held onto her sister's hand tighter. Alexandra studied her sister's beautiful face and imprinted it on her mind. This might be the last time she will her, so she will make sure to never forget her sister's face. Alexandra pulled her sister's hand and kissed it before she pulled her into a tight hug.

"I love you, always. Never forget that. Pray to Goddess of wisdom and warfare to watch over us, so we may be given another chance to see each other." Lyra couldn't say another words and so she just hug her sister tighter.

"I love you Lyra, Don't forget about me." Alexandra said as she slowly pull away from her

"I love you too Sister" Alexandra finally let's go of Lyra and she started to walk towards the ship, once she was in the ship they quickly set sail, leaving Lyra. Once again she felt so lonely, she wasn't sure as to when her sister would come back or...if she would come back at all.

"My lady? It's time to return." Gwen held her by her shoulder, Gwen ushered her back to the mansion, now alone and without her sister's protection she felt even more vulnerable in the mansion, she needs to find a way to survive her father's and step mother's wrath.

"My lady? What would you like to do?" Gwen asked, Lyra took a deep breath and looked at her friend. She slowly lift her hand to touch her friends face, Gwen's expression held worry for her. She knows that without her sister Lyra she is prone to danger.

"Do not worry about me. Bring me to the temple and I will pray there." Gwen nods her head and guided her to the temple and there Gwen waited for outside the temple and allowed her to have her time alone to pray. She kneeled to the ground and closed her eyes to pray.

While praying, she was unaware that her prayers are being blocked by another deity... Lyra was still unaware that thick dark cloud still hovered above the city. She was still unaware that her father's soldier already murdered her friend Gwen.

"My lady?" Her eyes suddenly opened, she quickly stood up and looked at the owner of the voice, all she could see is an unfamiliar silhouette of a woman holding a torch.

"What is it? Why did you disturb me?" She asked her confused, Why did Gwen allowed this woman to enter the temple while she was praying? When she knows very well that she is not to be disturb.

"What is it?" She asked again when the woman didn't answer.

"Your father demands to see you right away my lady." The woman said approaching her, Lyra felt that something is wrong, something doesn't sit well with this situation, her father wouldn't call for her, he didn't even want to see her so what does he need from her?
