PRAGMA
"My lady?! My lady?!" Lyra heard her friend calling for her. She looks behind her to see a silhouette walking closer to her, she smiled and extended her hand. Gwen gladly took it and held it tight.
"Did I made you worry? I'm so sorry." She heard her friend sighed before she pulled her away from the playing band.
"Do not stray away from me my lady, men in the the city isn't as good as the men in your mansion. If I lost you, the lord would have my head." Gwen scolded her which made Lyra giggle. She gently caress Gwen's hair and smiled at her.
"I'm sorry, I was just attracted to the sounds the musician makes." She explained smiling. It's also been a while since she went and explored the city with her friend, hearing many different sounds at once gives Lyra a thrill and excitement that's barely hard to contain, also the smell of food in the street market is very pleasing. It's very lovely to walk along the street since the clouds cover the sun, giving them a shady weather.
" Gwen? Can we buy that one bread you bought me with coconut shred fillings?" She asked as they walk and navigates through the busy street of the city.
" Oh! You mean the Pandecoco? Sure, it's right over here, just hold my hand and don't let go again? Okay?" She nods her head and followed Gwen through the way. They stops in front of the store that sell the bread that she's looking for, and Gwen made her wait in a corner were she could see her. Lyra was actually planning on offering one to each Goddesses in the temple. Maybe they would like to eat a simple bread that a human made. She remembers offering them a bread that she had made when she was young and they gladly took it, praising her for her good work. At that time Lyra still couldn't see the Deities faces because of how bright and glorious they are. But she could never forget their voices and touch. Hera's voice always held authority and motherly love. Artemis's voice is always friendly and sweet. While her Goddess Athena's voice is somewhat appealing and pleasantly smooth. Whenever the Goddess is talking to her, it's as if she's trying to coo her. She suddenly remember how she met one of the three Goddesses.
She was young then, maybe around six or five, she went out and venture to the forest near there city, she was walking while carrying a bread and cheese, she's freshly beaten by her father that day and was just trying to pass her anger since her mother told her that she has no rights to be mad at her father for he was just disciplining her. On her way she hear a woman crying, she followed her pained sobs and found a woman whose face is covered in so much hatred and her eyes held pain. The woman was looking at a tree. A beautiful tree, one that Lyra hadn't seen before, but her attention went back to the woman who was still crying. She felt pity, and she felt like she could understand the crying woman and she wanted to comfort her, so she steps forward and held her bread and cheese up.
"Do you want some?" The woman was startled that she almost jump in surprise. She felt bad for scaring her so she smiled apologetically.
"I'm sorry, didn't mean to scare you. Do you want some bread? We could share." She said looking up innocently at the woman, who looked at her with such curiosity.
"Did your daddy beat you too? Is that why your crying?" She asked tilting her head to the side, the woman wipes her tears away and crouched down to level with her.
"Didn't your mother tell you not to talk to someone you don't know, I could be a bad person." She told Lyra who only smiled.
