That Afternoon Medusa invited Lyra to walk with her, the day was good, the sun was hiding behind the clouds giving them a just fine day, it was good to take Lyra for a walk, she wanted her to have freedom as much as she wanted, she wants Lyra to feel like she belongs in this place.

"Where you alone in this place?" Lyra suddenly ask her while walking side by side.

"No, I'm not the only creature here, There's Harpies in here, centaur and other creatures... And I'm not the only Gorgon that lives here... There are many." She said explained taking Lyra's hand to hers and pulling her closer to her, Lyra was surprised to hear that there are more Gorgons other than Medusa.

"Then why do you live alone in your Cabin." Medusa looks up and think for a while, they have a big house in the near mountain. Her sisters and other friends lives there.

"I hate it there, the palace is noisy and I'd prepare a quite place, that's why I stayed in the cabin." Lyra suddenly stops walking and looked at Medusa wide eyed.

"You said palace? You have a palace?" She giggles at the surprise reaction of Lyra.

"Yes, like I told you I'm not the only living Gorgon, if I want to I could have taken you there but I'm a selfish person, I don't like the idea of sharing you. And with your delicious scent... It will be hard to keep the others away from you." Medusa's tongue flicks out and then she smirk.

"What do I smell like?" Medusa hummed and lean closer to Lyra.

"You smell provocative, I haven't smell a human like you before. If other smells you they wouldn't hesitate to eat, that is also one of the reason why I didn't brought you there." Lyra nods her head, she looks up to see the silhouette of the large trees, the smell of the place screams nature and Lyra wished she could see it.

"I wish I could see this place." Medusa looks around them, sure the place is green and beautiful, it gave her a feeling if aesthetic, the sun shines bringhtly and give the place a vibrant glow. Something she knew Lyra would love to see.

"If you could see this place I know that you will live it. But if you see me... Do you think you would still call me beautiful? Like what you said in the cave." Medusa asked curiously. Lyra stops from walking again and looked at her even though she can't see Medusa, she then extended her hand reaching for Medusa's face, Medusa leans down and allowed Lyra to touch her face again.

"What is your definition of beauty? How can you define it? Was it just simply pleasing in the eye? Or perhaps something exotic or extraordinary... People have different opinions when it comes to beauty... And so is mine, for me beauty isn't just all about your look." Lyra then gently touches Medusa's lips. They were full and soft.

" Beauty comes from deep within you, looks is just another addition to it. You having a hair made of snakes of a face made of snake or a body made of snake wouldn't make you hideous at all, it wouldn't make you a monster. If you look ugly just as people claims you must have acted like an ugly creature... But I refuse to believe them, because since I met you... All you do was act beautiful... And that what's matter." The words Lyra said to her actually made Medusa smile, it's been a while since she heard nice words being said to her. Lyra's thumb was still on her lips, so she decided to tease her by flicking her tounge, Lyra gasp and quickly pulls her hand away startled by the her, this made Medusa giggle.

"I...uh is that your tongue?" Still giggling Medusa nods her head and said yes to Lyra.

"Your tongue is split in the middle." She said again.

"When I was transformed everything in me was also change, even my tongue and teeths. I also have a small wing behind my back." Medusa looks behind her and true, she do have a small wing and she doesn't even know what purpose it has, it couldn't even lift her up.

"H..how long is your tongue?" Medusa returns her attention to Lyra who was still looking at her with such curiosity.

"Why would you like to know?" She asked too.

"I was just curious to know. Can you transform into a giant snake?" Medusa hummed, she held Lyra's hand and guided her again so they could start walking.

" I can change my lower body into a snakes body, my face can also morph and change... But unlike my sisters I can't transform into a giant one. I'm still young compared to them." The two of them stops near a fall, Lyra looks toward the falls

"Is that a falls.?" Lyra sounds excited and she quickly lets go of Medusa's hand but before she could step away from her Medusa pulled her back close to her.

"Be careful, you might slip and fall." She then again guided her towards a much more safer way. Medusa could feel Lyra's excitement vibrates through her body, though she felt bad that Lyra couldn't see it for herself, she was this excited even when she couldn't see it, so what more if she could really see one.

"I haven't seen a water fall before. I wish I could now." Lyra exclaimed them she looks at Medusa with a wide smile.

"Can you describe what it looks like?" Medusa looks at the water wall and studied it features carefully.

"The water color is a clear one that reflects the sun, it made it looks like it was shining, you could see from here that beside that waterfall grows a tree, on the other side of it is a bush of wild berries, and you could see the bliss pool at the bottom is varnish clear. Fishes swims here and you could see them in the clear water, animals came to this fall just to drink... Come lets sit on the edge." Medusa offered her hand to Lyra and took her near the edge, there they hang there feet and let it submerged to the cool water.

"When the season is too hot I came here to bathe to cool down my body. You could see crystalize rocks here." Medusa bend and pick one before she gave it to Lyra who touches it.

" I could only see it's silhouette... Nothing more nothing less." She admitted, but she kept it anyway.

" Where you born blind?" Lyra shakes her head no.

"I wasn't born blind, When I was young I still could see things, I still know the colors of the tree and people and many other things, but as I grew up I got sick and my eyesight became poor... Soon all I could see were silhouette and everything is just blurry and hard to make out, and without light I'm completely blind." Medusa tilts her head to the side.

" So you still could see me?"

" Just your silhouette, I couldn't see your face, your eyes, just the shape of your body and all." She explained, Medusa nods her head in understanding.

" Then why didn't you pray for the Gods to heal it?" Lyra opened her mouth to answer that question... But no answer came in her mind, and then she started to ask herself... Why didn't they heal her?"
