The sun was already up and high when Lyra and Medusa decided to step out of the cave, Medusa has her arm around Lyra as they walk carefully along the path way that would lead them back to the cabin.
"You don't have to wrap your arms around me, I'm just fine with you holding my hands." She said but Medusa only cast her a side glance, she didn't trust her with just holding hands, and the road is too slippery for her and there's a lot of fallen branches that scatter on the ground... Medusa grumbles, she hates it when it storms, she wonders who piss the supreme god again. It was never been a good idea to piss him off.
"Medusa? Is everything alright? You've been quite since this morning. Did I perhaps done something wrong? Or maybe I had offended you in someway?" She stops momentarily and looked at Lyra who looks sad and uncomfortable, it was true that she had been in a foul mood since that morning, but Lyra had nothing to do with it.
" No, you didn't do anything wrong, I just hate it... When it storms I hate it. I hate the sound of the thunder and the rain. I hate the aftermath of the strom as it leaves the forest and my home in total chaos. Please stop worrying, you did nothing wrong at all, if anything I should be the one to apologize for I probably have shown you a bad attitude." Lyra smiled and giggled surprising Medusa, now that she was this close to Lyra, she have never got the chance to admire just how beautiful she is especially when she's smiling.
" No, if anything it's okay... It makes you more of a human, makes me realize that deep within you are still one despite your looks, you have a good heart, one which I'm glad that the curse didn't take away from you." This made Medusa's cheek blush, she looks away from Lyra and they started to walk again heading for their Cabin.
"I wish the Cabin didn't get ruined, I hope we still have a house to return too." Medusa also wished for it, that place is way more comfortable to live in than the cold and hard cave, but she won't also hope that it was still fine, since the wind is strong.
" I wish so too." She replied. There peaceful moment of walking got interrupted when they heard screeching sound accompanied by the unmistakable sounds of moving wings.
"What is that sounds?" Lyra asked getting scared because of the screeching, Medusa could see the goosebumps rising on Lyra's skin upon hearing the sounds of the harpies. She cursed, they must have smell Lyra's scent and come to look for her.
"Come, I need to hide you." She said pulling Lyra into another direction, but they were already too late, as the harpies also change direction, cursing the gods above for the unfortunate turn of event Medusa was forced to drag and pin Lyra against the tree.
"Forgive me for what I'm about to do, but I must cover you with my scent to hide you from those damn harpies." She said leaning closer to Lyra who remained pinned between the tree and her, she transformed her body and wraps it around Lyra, but to make it stronger and to be able to completely hide her scent from the hungry harpies she needs to bathe her with her scent and the only fast way she could do it is to cover her with her saliva.
Lyra squeak upon feeling Medusa's tongue on her neck up to her cheek.
" I'm really sorry." Medusa said before she licks her other side of the neck leaving a hot wet trail of saliva.
" Please endure it for the time being." She bit her lower lips when she felt her tongue between her breast traveling up to her chin, and then on her shoulder up to her sensitive ears, a sound suddenly escape her lips making her quickly cover it with her hand, Medusa also stops upon hearing it and looked up to see Lyra's flushed face and heavily breathing. The red in her face travels from her chest up to cheeks and ear.
" Did you hear that? She's here!" The voice of the Harpy echoed in the now silent forest.
" Shhh... You need to be quiet... Please endure it." She whispered continuing to do so, licking Lyra's arms down to her palm... She doesn't taste salty of tangy, if anything she taste sweet, like peach and grapes. A weird combination.
"Stop! Stop!" The harpies stops and took a landing near them, just behind the tree where they were hiding.
"This scent." Baruda, the head of the harpies said, Harpies didn't usually harm Medusa, they don't pay attention to each other, but with Lyra, a human is with her they won't hesitate to attack her and take Lyra away from her. Taking a deep breath she let herself be seen and once they saw her they quickly cover their eyes with their wings.
"What do you want?" She asked hissing at them, her body is still wrap around Lyra hidding her from the Harpies.
"Forgive us great and mighty Medusa, protector of the forest. We didn't mean to disturb you. We just happen to smell a human coming from here.
"A human?" She said feigning surprise, she felt Lyra's hand in her body indicating that she's getting uncomfortable with the small space so she loosen her body a little to give more space to Lyra.
"Yes, a human, a tasty one." Baruda added, while still covering her eyes.
"If by any chance you came across one? Can you please not turn it into a stone? Instead call for us and we will happily do the job of getting rid of it for you." After that the Harpies started flying away leaving them now in peace, releasing a breath of relief she morphs back and looked at Lyra who's now standing still.
"Are you alright?" She asks looking at the still red face of Lyra.
"So... What do I taste like?" She was caught off guard by the question that Lyra asked her. After recovering from the initial surprise Medusa ended up laughing heartily.
The sound of her laughter was new to Lyra's ears and she could already imagine her smiling face, Medusa's laughter would probably shock people when they hear it, because her laughter is genuine and in heart.
"Oh, I'm really sorry you will need to take a bath when we get back." Medusa said amidst laughter, Lyra gently reach and touched her cheeks gently caressing it.
"Please laugh more often for me. It pleases my heart and put me at ease."
