You turn around, looking Cara in the eyes. "Cara," you say. She hums in response, looking at you. "Can I talk to you?" you ask. "Sure. Is something wrong?" She asks, a concerned tone in her voice. "I'm fine it's just-," you hesitate. You're both feeling so great. You hate to be the one to ruin the mood.

"After you left this morning I found a bounty hunter in your ship looking for you. When they sent me after you I just abandoned the puck and said you weren't here but now that there are others... I'm worried," you say, looking at her. You can feel her tense up. "How long were you planning on waiting before telling me?" She asks you.

You look down at the floor out of shame. "I didn't mean to avoid telling you it just kind of happened," you mumble. She's angry. You can feel the mood shift from across the room. "Real classy Y/N. Getting in one last fuck before telling me that there are goddamn mercenaries coming after me," she says coldly, walking towards the door.

You quickly put on your pants, walking over to where she is. "Cara- it's not like that I'm just trying to help. We need to figure out what we're going to do about-" you say grabbing her arm lightly. Cara interrupts you. "No Y/N. Not we. IM going to go think of how to not get myself murdered. You can sit here and try not to use anybody else in the mean time," she says, harshly removing herself from your grasp. You hit the counter with your hand as she closes the door behind herself. "Shit," you curse under your breath. You've fucked up.

Caras knocked to the ground with a kick. She stands up, preparing for another hit. Her opponent grabs her arm from behind her, restricting her ability to block as they strike her stomach. She yanks onto where they're holding her arm, tossing them over her shoulder and with a smack landing in the hard ground. She pins them down in a choke hold until they tap out, signifying that she won the match.

Normally Cara would be excited that she won and already be counting her revenue. Not today. She just needed somewhere to let out her anger. She's pissed at you. Well, more worried and hurt than angry but strong emotions tend to mush together sometimes for her. She walks over to the wall, leaning on it as someone she recognizes quite well walks in. "Looking for some work?" The Mandalorian says.

Cara and Mando sit across from each other at a small table. "It seems like a straightforward operation. They're providing the plan and firepower, I'm the snare," he says. "With the kid?" Cara asks. "That's why I'm coming to you," Mando says. "I don't know," Cara starts. "I've been advised to lay low. If anybody runs my chain code I'll rot in a cell for the rest of my life," she reasons.

"I thought you were a veteran," mando says harshly, trying to get her to accept. "I've been a lot things since, most of them carry a life sentence. If I so much as book passage on a ship registered to the New Republic I'm-," he interrupts her. "I have a ship. I can bring you there and back with a handsome reward. You can live free of worry," he says. "I'm already free of worry. And I'm not in the mood to play soldier anymore. Especially fighting some local warlord," she says.

"He's not a local warlord. He's Imperial," Mando tells her. She freezes, looking at Mando where she guesses his eyes are in the helmet. "I'm in," she says. He nods to her as she stands up, collecting her stuff in preparation to leave. It was perfect timing. She could get away from sorgan for a while which meant getting away from the hunters and destroying whatever they were using to track her, and it was the perfect distraction from your argument with her.

"One more thing," Mando says causing her to turn around, making eye contact with him once more. "Ask Y/N if she'll come too for me," Cara stiffens. "Sure thing," she says trying not to sound annoyed. There goes her plan to have some time to herself.

It's the next morning. You and Cara sit across from each other inside of the razor crest. Neither of you had spoken a word yet. The tension was visible. You break the silence. "Can we please just talk?" You ask. "What do you mean? There's nothing to talk about," she says with a monotone voice. "Don't do that Cara," you say. "You're obviously still upset with me," she sighs as she places her thumb and pointer finger on the bridge of her nose, squeezing gently. "Yeah no shit I'm upset with you Y/N. No offense but you were being really selfish," she says with an annoyed laugh.

"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't think about how douchey what I did was until after. I know it was wrong to not tell you immediately but I promise I wasn't trying to use you at all," you say. You are really sorry. You're just not sure she believes you. "It's- you're fine Y/N. I just need a little bit of time," she says. You nod quietly as she stands up, climbing up the latter into the cockpit.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cara stands in the cockpit, leaning up against the wall in the corner. "Does your contact need to vet me?" Cara asks. "Doesn't know your coming," mando tells her.  "Really? That can be a problem," she says. "It won't. But if it is, that's his problem," he says. They both go quiet for a moment. He speaks up. "Don't you want to go sit with your girlfriend," mando jokes. She licks her lips, angling her eyes towards the ground so he doesn't notice her upset look.
"Could you not right now," she says. He nods at her, acknowledging that he struck a nerve. He stays silent for a minute. "If I can ask, what happened? Last time I saw you two together you were all over each other," he asks. She hesitates for a moment. Mando had known which way Cara swung for a while but they hadn't really ever discussed their love life's with each other before.
"An independent bounty hunter was looking for me. She found him in my ship and took him out but she waited to tell me until after we had sex. It's not that big of a deal but we had a fight and I can't get it out of my head. I know I'm not in the wrong here but I feel so bad avoiding her,"
"I'm not the most knowledgable person for relationship advice but give it time. Did she apologize?" He asks. "Yeah," cara says. "That's good. Go back to her whenever you're ready. I saw how she acted when she thought you had died during that AT-ST mission. She's not going anywhere," he says. "You really think so?" Cara asks. Mando just nods.
I have an unhealthy obsession with fictional characters yelling at me then forgiving me... it's so cute and for what? Anyways I don't really know where I'm going with this so I'm sorry if it's sloppy. I might go back and edit the entire thing to be better once I'm done with the normal writing.
