Slight smut warning. Introduction of new and OC Raymond Edurius. More about him in later chapters :)
Weeks past and Celeste, was becoming whole again. Her time spent with Blaise, Draco and Pansy made her forget about her issues with other friends, her and Pansy often slept in the same bed together, giggling at teenage things like boys and clothes; something that Celeste didn't usually enjoy but was now completely content in doing.
Draco spent his weeks excited about the upcoming ball, eager to see Celeste there and hopefully snag a dance. Blaise and Pansy were coming too, and even though originally Celeste was hesitant in going, she now looked forward to it; excited to spend the night away drinking and dancing and dressing up with her friends.
Because they were 6th years, they were allowed to go away on the weekends with permission, so once they obtained it from Dumbledore, on the Saturday morning of the ball; the Slytherin friends made their way to Dumbledores office, and arrived at the Malfoy Manor at 12 o clock.
"I can't wait to see what you're wearing" Pansy said to Celeste, arm in arm as they walked through the Manor to the kitchen: each of them starving.
"So am I. Narcissa has great taste, she always looks beautiful". Celeste replied.
"You're so lucky. Narcissa can't stand me!" Pansy remarked.
"Really? Why is that?" The statement confused Celeste, as she had never taken Narcissa for the malicious sort; having been rewarded nothing but grace and love from Dracos mother.
"I think it's because she knows I like Draco, even though he's oblivious, I think she doesn't like the thought of me in her family. Much rather have someone like you". I frowned, for one, Draco was well aware of Pansy'a affections for him, he just decided to ignore them. She was also confused in wondering if what Pansy said was true. If Narcissa really did have a slightly darker side she was unaware of.
"Celeste!" Narcissa squealed behind the group of Slytherins who had now made their way to the kitchen. Speak of the devil.
"Cissy!" Celeste replied, unlinking with Pansy to embrace Narcissa.
"So glad you could come. I'm so excited to see what you're wearing!" Narcissa exclaimed. Celeste frowned.
"But I thought-"
"Hello Blaise!" Narcissa cut the young witch off, heading to give him a hug. "So glad you could come. Draco? I thought I said only two guests?" Celeste was taken back suddenly by her switch in tone, from warm to cold.
"Well you invited Celeste yourself, I thought that meant I could bring another person" Draco stuttered. This was strange, Celeste frowned at Dracos sudden, slight anxiety over his mother. Again, she had never witnessed Narcissas coldness, nor seen her son be afraid of her.
"It did not" she spat. Narcissa whipped around and inspected Pansy, who stood meekly next to Celeste. "I guess now you're here you can stay, however", Narcissa took a steady step toward the girl, she did not have to give a look or say anything mean for the whole room to silence and Celeste to quiver a little. "Don't embarrass me, my son and especially my husband, do you understand?"
"Yes Ma'am" Pansy said quickly.
"Good", Narcissa sucked in a breath, swivelling back to Celeste and stood smiling again. "So, what are you wearing tonight dear, I am sure you will look stunning in anything!" Celeste let out a weak laugh and frowned her brows
"I was under the impression you picked something out for me?"
"Oh no dear, it was Lucius, he said he'd rather do it so I don't pick something silly out and embarrass him" she giggled, grabbing Celestes hands and squeezing them tight.
