Chapter Beginning

A week before the Yule Ball, Celeste arranged to meet Raymond. He offered a house call, inviting her to come and see his home.

She dressed casually but nicely, making sure to add elements of flair with jewellery to make herself look presentable. She told no one the truth of where she was going. To the Slytherins, she told she was going to see the Weasleys, which they protested, but Celeste assured Fred and George had her back through the past month's ordeal, which they had done.

She lied as she thought no one knew the man, so telling the truth would only invite questions. Ones she didn't actually know herself. Why was she seeing this man? In her own mind it was because there was something of intrigue about him. He also wanted to see her about potential jobs after Hogwarts, and did not want to say anything to her friends that were yet to happen. Celeste did not know exactly why she was going, perhaps she should be hesitant. She barely knew the man. But the first impression she had gotten was a good one. He seemed normal with wit and charm.

She arrived early. Apparating to the place unknown, and was surprised to see it was a somewhat large, but also modest property. Celeste thought Lucius only knew excessively rich people. Perhaps not.

Knocking at the door was met with haste, within a few seconds, it flew open, and Celeste smiled meekly when she saw the man

Knocking at the door was met with haste, within a few seconds, it flew open, and Celeste smiled meekly when she saw the man. "Hello, Celeste".

"Mr Edurius"

"Please, call me Raymond", he said summoning her in. He kept a steady distance, something that made Celeste smile; most men kept themselves close to her. He however was polite. His eyes did not stick to her, his breath was not running down her neck he was so close; he was a gentleman. And with that, a small guard went down.

"Follow me," he said, leading her into a large living area.

"You have a lovely house"

"You are too polite" he smiled. "It is comfortable" he offered a chair and as Celeste took it, he took the one next to her; again giving her space. "Would you like a drink?"
