Chapter 16: Walking home (Gray and Fumiko)

I was walking with Gray home. It was night and, I don't know why but, I was still blushing. Maybe, maybe is just because of the song.

"Hey." Gray said, "You didn't sang that bad."

I smirked and said "Thanks, you didn't sang that bad either. By the way, why did you choose that song?" I asked and he looked at me shocked and then smirked and said "Why? You liked it?"

I blushed and replied "No! I was just wondering." I looked away and crossed my arms.

He then asked "Hey, do you have any plans of what to do for the festival?"

I then said "Oh snap! I totally forgot about that!" I then said calmly "As you can see, no."

He chuckled and said "I think that we should make something, like, I don't know. Fun?"

I then nodded and said "Yeah, just like that time at the basketball court, that was pretty fun."

I said and then Gray said "Ya know that I won that time, right?"

I growled and pointed out at him "What?! No way! I totally wetted you that time!"

He shrugged and said "I squirted you too."

I growled and said "Fine then, it was a tie."

He smirked and I asked "How come you always are smirking?"

He shrugged and said "I don't know, how come you are so annoying?"

I growled and said "Grrrrr! I'm annoying?! Your the one who is always stalking me!"

"I just walk with you 'cause I got nothing better to do!"

I then looked at him shocked and asked "Nothing better to do? Don't you have, ya know, a family?"

He looked down sadly and said "Believe it or not, I use to live in Alaska."

"What?!" I said shocked.

"Yeah, my parents were skiing on ice and the ice broke and they fell down the cold waters."

I looked down sadly and said "I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't know."

He shrugged and said "It's alright, it's not like there coming back, right?"

There was a small silence for a moment and I was still looking sadly at the floor. I then said "We finally have something in common."

"Huh?" He said.

"I also live alone, my parents are in prison at the USA and I'm not able to go and visit them."

He looked at me shocked.

GRAY'S P.O.V

What? Who would've had thought that she lived alone like me. I mean, like everyone on Fairy Tail. Natsu's parents left it him on an orphanage when he was little, Lucy's mother died and his father is no where to be found. Erza's parents... well... I never knew about them. Wendy's parents also left her. Happy and Carla's same with Natsu's parents. Cana never talks about them. At least, there parents are alive and she... well... she could, if maybe she had the money to visit them, go to the USA.

I then looked at her, which she was looking at the floor sadly, and I said "I guess that we're here." I pointed to her house and she walked away sadly and she looked back and she told me "See ya tomorrow."

"Right back at ya." I replied.

I then thought "Think that I should annoy her. *Shrug* What gives."

I then said before she could close the door "See ya tomorrow then, stupid."

She looked at me shocked and growled "Oh yeah! See ya tomorrow idiot!"

"Annoying!"

"Stripper!"

"Weirdo!"

"Grrrr! Would you just leave!"

I turned around with a smirk and started walking away.

NORMAL P.O.V

"Can you believe that guy?" I whispered quietly.

"I heard that."

"Good!" I said as he leaved with his hands on his pockets.
