Chapter 87: HSG

I made it to school just in time. I had my uniform on and my hair in a ponytail. I walked in the classroom to see everyone murmuring.

"Hey Fumiko! Over here!" Screamed Kana as she waved her hand. I walked towards her and asked, "What's going on?"

"The HSG." Replied an arms crossed Gajeel who was behind me.

I snapped, "Right! The High School Games!"

Gajeel gave a small nod. "We will meet the other schools later, but for now, we are just going to practice on the track and field." Lucy told me as I sighed in defeat, "I guess that means running again."

"Well, at least it's not fishing." Said Gray arms crossed as he smirked and walked in the classroom.

"Fishing?" Everyone asked in unison as I shook my head and laughed awkwardly, "I-It's nothing, just ignore him."

Gray stood next to my left as I punched his arm and said between teeth, "What are you doing you idiot? Just keep your mouth shut and don't tell anyone about it."

Gray shrugged and replied, "Too bad,"

I looked at him shocked, "already told everyone what happened yesterday."

"Yeah, he did." Lucy and Levi elbowed me with a wink as I blushed angrily.

We were at the track and field. There was a bunch of people and the field was so hot. We were all sweating after running 3 laps around the field, I was freaking tired afterwards.

I went inside the school to drink from the fountain. I bent down, pushed the button, and began to drink the cold water.

"Tired?" Said a manly voice who I recognize easily. I turned around arms crossed and with a glare, "Sting." I simply said.

"Long time no see Fumiko." He replied but then mumbled, "After breaking my nose."

"Of course, how to forget that?!" I said sarcastically, still arms crossed.

"You two shall quit fighting." Rouge walked towards us with Lector and Frosch by his side.

"Hmph... even if we stop discussing here, is not like I'll break his nose again."

Sting leaned forward, "You should really watch that mouth of yours, Sabertooth can win this time."

I lean closer to him, "You just cleared that up, this time," I snickered, "like if that were to happen."

"Now you shut up! Sting can beat you in a snap!" Lector defended Sting.

"Rouge, Frosch is scared." Frosch speak in a third person form, as always.

Rouge patted the green haired boy, "Don't worry, I'm here with you." Rouge smirked, but I just kept my arms crossed and my glare on. I thought, "Tsk, how to forget these idiots? Messing with our school was the worst thing they could've done. Even if Natsu and the others had broken our deal, doesn't mean that I can punch him now." I turned my hand into a fist, "He hurt Natsu and made Lucy cried. He made us worry sick, and gave us anger."

I chuckled, "Give up,"

"Huh?" The four of them said in unison.

"Fairy Tail high can win, we have faith, we trust each other and laugh. We will become the best school in Magnolia no matter what!"

Sting smirk, "Idiot."

He threw a punch as I closed my eyes in fear, but, when I opened them, I just saw Gray holding his punch from hitting me. Gray glared at Sting, "If you hurt her, you are dead."

Sting and the others looked at him shocked, "Yeah, mess with her, then you mess with us." I looked back to see Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Wendy, Carla, Mira, Gajeel, Levi, Lily, Erza, Kana, and even principal Makarov.

I smirked and turned to look at Sting, I walked forward but Gray stretched his right arm to stop me, "That is enough!" Screamed principal Makarov as I stared at him shocked, "Sting, Rouge, Frosch, and Lector, return with your team and principal now."

They growled at us as I glared. They turned around and continued their path.

"Fumiko-" Principal Makarov began to say until I cut him off, "I know, and I am sorry if I almost started another fight."

He sighed to calm down, "Is alright my child, now, we should meet the other teams, and start the HSG!"
