Chapter 76: Feelings

Tuesday, meaning *Sigh* theater class. I let out a big sigh as we sat down on the red fancy chairs of the theater. I was in the middle, Gray to my left and Lucy to my right. Levi was on the stage talking about the life of Shakespeare.

Gray put his arm around me and said, "What's up Fumiko?"

I rolled my eyes but, in the inside, I was blushing from yesterday.

"Nothing." I simply replied as he narrowed his eyes.

"What?" I asked as he just stared at my....um.... chest?!

I punched his head and screamed, "You perv! Get away from me!" I covered my chest as Gray rubbed his head, "I was just looking at your necklace!"

I blushed and looked at the floor in embarrassment. I grabbed my necklace and asked, "Why? You never had seen it?"

"No, I hadn't."

The necklace was a drop-shaped necklace. It had a sky blue diamond in the center. The chain was silver and so was the necklace.

"Is it special to you?" He asked as I still held the necklace.

"Uh...hum." I nodded. I heard Lucy snicker and I turned to look at her as she drew a heart in the air and wrote in the air G + F. I put a pouty face as I blushed.

I turned my head to see Gray's lips stretching for a kiss. I blushed and put my index finger on his lips, "Um...no." I said as I removed my index finger from his lips. He chuckled.

I was walking down the hall and got to my locker. I opened the lock and put the three textbooks, that I had wrapped around my arms, on the locker. I felt hands around my waist and blushed. I turned around to see Gray smirking. I blushed deep red. Gray closed the locker and pushed me lightly back, his arms on my shoulders. I blushed as he got closer to lean for a kiss. I lean a little forward but... my phone rang.

"Saved by the bell." I thought as I got my phone from my back pocket.Gray rolled his eyes but then smiled. I looked at the screen to see that it was Maya, I picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Fumiko, can you come today to our house?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Okay, thank you." She replied and hung up.

"Who was it?" Gray asked.

I put my phone on my back pocket and flicked his arm, "Not of your business."

I walked pass him but he held my wrist and pulled me back in front of him. He smirked with a 'hmph', "Well, it is of my business if you're my girlfriend."

My whole face turned red as a tomato, "Y-Your w-wha-"

He patted my back, "Just kidding." And winked.

I punched his face. He flew and ended up in the floor, "You idiot!"

He trembled as I stomp on the floor with kanjis saying 'stump stump' in every step. A dark purple aura covered my back as I walked towards him and held his collar, I pointed his chest, "How can you-"

He smirked, "Now who is closer to who?"

I noticed that I was in top of him and his face was super close to mine. I backed up crawling, shivering, and my heartbeat going crazy. He stood up with a sigh and took his shirt off.

I pointed out at him, "H-hey! Put your s-shirt back on!"

He ignored me and gave me a hand to stand up, I took his hand, and I stood up.

I kept blushing as we walked down the hall, I still don't get how can I take this whole "liking Gray a lot" thing. I mean, I like him, and he likes me, but I'm just afraid to tell him how I feel even though he told me how he felt. "*Sigh* This whole thing is confusing." I mumbled, Gray looked at me with a raised eyebrow, "Huh?"

I smiled eyes closed with a grin, "Oh...nothing nothing."

"Hey lovebirds." Said Gajeel as he laid on the wall in front of the bathroom doors.

Gray put his arm around my neck, "You've got that right."

I elbowed his left side as he groan, I asked, "What happened Gajeel?"

"Tsk... those jerks from Sabertooth High are coming again."

Gray and I looked at him shocked. It came to my mind that flashback of me punching Stings nose and breaking it.

Gray got the same flashback too and Gray thought, "If those guys come again then, Fumiko might just get angry again."

"Gray," I said as I looked at the floor and turned my hand into a fist, "I know what your thinking, but if they hurt someone again, I'll beat their butts up. That's just my style for defending a friend who's hurt. And you sure know the other way that I protect the ones who are getting beaten down."

Gray looked at me shocked and remembered yesterday, of how I protected him. He looked at my left arm to see a bruise, but I pulled my sleeve down and covered it.

"Then... when?" Gray asked.

Gajeel shrugged arms crossed, "Don't know, maybe in March or sooner."

I put my hand on my chin, "March? I've heard that Fairy tail High does some other games where they DO bring more schools."

Gray scratched the back of his head, "Ya mean HSG?"

"HSG?"
"HSG?"

Gajeel and I asked in unison.

"You guys probably had never heard about 'em 'cause you guys are new, but the HSG stands for High School Games. They're bigger than the once that was just Fairy tail high, Blue pegasus high, Lamia scale high, or Phantom lord high."

"Bigger?" Gajeel asked shocked. Gray crossed his arms and explained with a nod, "Yeah, every year new high schools in Magnolia come here.They do different games every year and competitions based on physical,mental, and emotional abilities. For example, last year we were told to tell our fears and face them face to face."

"Are you serious?!" I asked shocked.

"Are these even games?!" Gajeel
added.

"They're actually made so they could see how students are 'learning' in school and see if they are good in these."

I stuttered, "A-are you serious about facing our fears?"

Gray laughed and pointed at us, "No way! You guys should've seen your faces!"

Gajeel and I crushed our knuckles, "Fumiko?" Gajeel asked.

"With pleasure." I replied with a smirk.

Gray later was seeing stars and his eyes looked like a beaten Pokémon.
Gajeel and I fist pumped.

Gray stood up with a huge bruise on his head as Gajeel chuckled and I laughed. Gray cleaned the dust off his pants and cleared his throat, "As I was saying, there just sport games."

Gajeel and I narrowed our eyes. And then rolled our eyes. I then said, "Fine I believe ya."

In the end, Gray and I walked to Yuki's house.
