Frozen Heart (OC x Gray)

Chapter 22: Preparing for the games!

We were at the field outside training for tomorrow. The games will take place at Blue Pegasus high, and all of the schools in Magnolia will participate. I feel... kind of excited though.

Anyways, I was running with a green pole on my hand, ready to give it to Erza. I gave it to Erza and she ran vs Evergreen. The both of them were right there so close at each other.

And when they got to the finish line, some cheered, and some groaned. They both were tied.

I was catching my breath when Levi offered me some water. I took the water bottle and drank it as Levi stretched.

Then she asked me as she stretched "Had you ever been on a team?"

I shook my head and replied "No, why?"

"Oh, for nothing, it's just that your really fast."

"Really?"

"Uh hum." She replied.

"Go Levi!" Said Jet and Droy as I sweat dropped and said "Fanboys?"

She then nodded in defeat as I
laughed smiling eyes closed.

"Levi! Lucy! Lisanna!" Erza called out, "Your up next after the guys!" Lucy groaned, same as Lisanna, and Levi cheered, so as her fanboys.

"And for the guy's team! Natsu!"

"I'm all fired up!" Natsu said.

"Gray!"

"Now I'm ready."

"Elfman!"

"I'm gonna show them what a real man does!"

"And Mira!" All of the guys stared at Mira as she was crushing her knuckles and passed by Elfman and said "Good luck, Elfman."

They got in there positions and... "Go!!!" Erza said as Elfman, Natsu, Mira, and Gray ran.

"Elfman man was 1st, then Natsu, then Gray, and Mira. But wait! Natsu and Elfman are tied!" I sweat dropped to this blonde guy called Jason and said "Um... where did you come from?"

He ignored me and said " This so cool! Wait! Now Natsu and Gray are fighting for 1st place! Now the four of them are fighting for 1st place! And..."

Everyone paid attention "And... Mira is the winner!"

"That wasn't so hard, right boys?" Mira said smiling eyes closed as the guys cached there breaths.

"Hey Natsu!" Gray said angry.

"Yeah Gray?!" Replied Natsu.

"Why you get in my way?!"

"Me?! Your the one who got in my way first!" Natsu said and Elfman came and said "It's not manly to fight like this for first place as everyone knows that I would've won!"

Natsu, Gray, and Elfman began fighting, as us, the girls, sighed while rolling our eyes.

"Hey guys!" We turned around to see Wendy.

"Oh, hey Wendy," Lucy said "Are you participating?"

"Uh hum!" She replied with a nod and a eyes closed smile.

"How about Carla?" Lisanna asked.

Wendy turned around to see Carla sitting on the bleachers and said "I don't think so."

"Hey, where's Cana?" I asked looking around as Levi pointed at the bleachers and said "I think she came today drunk again."

We turned to the bleachers to see Cana laying down sleeping with a
cup , of what it seemed to be beer, on her hand.

We sweat dropped and I said "Guess that means that she's not participating."

"Are you participating, Fumiko?" A manly voice said. I turned around but didn't see no one until I looked down and saw principal Makarov. I then smiled eyes closed and said "Oh, hi principal Makarov. And yes, I am."

He smiled eyes closed, "It's good to know girls."

"Next up!," Said Erza, "Levi, Lucy, and Lisanna!"

Lucy sighed in defeat and Levi said pumped up "Yeah! I got this!"

"Go Levi!" Her fanboys said.

I smiled as Lisanna and the others got ready. But, Lisanna, Levi, and Lucy looked shocked at Erza which was also going to race.

"Aaaaaand now the girls!" Said Jason, I sweat dropped and said "Doesn't your throat hurt when you scream like that?"

"And... begin!" Erza said as they ran. And Jason narrated their race, "Wow!This is so awesome! Erza is on the lead! Then Lisanna! And last but not least, Lucy and Levi!" Then he "whispered", "And Lucy should really hurry up because she is just about to be dead last."

"Shut up you!" Said Lucy screaming at Jason.

Jason continued, "But wait! Now in second is Lisanna, Levi, and Lucy! Wow! Now Erza just passed the finish line! Now Lisanna! And Levi and Lucy!"

Levi and Lucy threw themselves to the ground catching their breaths. I kinda thought it was funny and laughed.

We kept practicing all day non stop.
