'I am your heart?' Adonis signed as tears rolled down his cheeks.
I nodded and placed his hand to the beating part of my chest, "Yes...do you feel it?"
He nodded.
I smiled, "You make it flutter so fast sometimes..."
His eyes widened, and he blushed, taking one of my hands to place against his chest, mimicking me.
'You are my heart as well,' he signed.
"Yeah?" I giggled, tearing up.
He nodded, and we both sat there silently, feeling the rhythm of each other's hearts.
This feeling of not wanting to let go of someone, even to the deepest depths of sorrow when thinking about living a life without them...
This feeling of warmth from being complete by another...
What was it?
I had never thought I'd feel it for any man.

I went to the training grounds, practicing my swordsmanship and combat.
It was so hard.
I hit the ground hard, coughing.
My uncle threw the sword into the ground beside my head, "Again."
"Ugh!" I complained and got up slowly, holding my side, "Have you forgotten the pain in my back?!"
"Wouldn't stop an enemy, would it?"
Of course he'd say that.
I threw my leg up to his head and he grabbed my ankle in an instant, holding me up.
"Put me down you old hag!"
He dropped me and I coughed more, "S-shit."
"It's captain to you."
I rolled my eyes.
"Did you just roll your eyes at me young woman?"
I smirked, and hopped up on my feet, "Yes."
He grabbed the sword out of the ground and I tapped my chin, "Oh look. There's Iven."
He turned to look back and I punched my name on his chest.
"Wooo! Go Princess!" The knights around the arena shouted.
I smirked and bowed, "My pleasure boys."
My uncle groaned, "I let you do that."
I yawned sarcastically, "Yeah sure pal-"
He swung his leg through my feet and I immediately fell onto my bottom. "Owwww!"
He grabbed his cape off the ground and zipped up his armored torso, which was decorated in ribbons of honor, walking off. "I'm not your pal."
Asshole.
I rubbed my sore rear and Uvin rushed over to help me up.
"You're really great at catching him off guard. It's hard to do for the rest of us."
I shrugged and stood, "Just gotta hit him where it hurts."
I actually didn't believe the Iven trick would work. Was something going on between them?
"Well there's one man who can manage to do what you did."
I blinked, "Hm?"
He tilted his head and I saw Adonis walking up to you in his corporal outfit. His presence always contrasted with the day. Pure darkness...even under sunlight.
