You dance around the ship, a baggy t-shirt on over your underwear, A beer in your hand. Music blasting through the radio. You make your way over to the computer, sitting down in the seat and clicking the key to answer the incoming call, "Yondu! My guy, what am I stealing today?" You shout over the music, kicking your feet up on the control panel.
"You're going with Quill to get the orb from Morag. There, back, no issues, got it?" You take a sip of your drink, nodding before handing up.

"Quill, how you been?" You place your arm around his shoulder as you catch up to him, catching him off guard as he takes his headphones off.
"Y/n what are you doing here?" He rolled his eyes, continuing to kick away the little creatures.
"Well you see, I'm here to babysit you, make sure you don't pull anything etcetera etcetera, you know the drill." You hop around infront of him, walking backwards so you could face him. You watch him as he put his headphones back on, "fine, you be antisocial then." You spin back round, putting headphones on yourself and begin to dance around, noticing Quill dancing too. No matter how you both bickered and argued, you could always agree that music can help with any mood.

An example of something he didn't agree with when it came to you was, well now, as you ran back to your ship, having left Quill to defend himself and the orb. Or so he thought, Quill may have been good at his job, but you were simply better. You began to leave, headed to another planet, you sit down, chucking your bag on the floor as you called Yondu.
"Hi, I'll keep it short, Quill dashed with the orb, sorry I guess but I'm not going after it again." You hung up before he could respond, knowing the shouting was about to start. Moments after, you answered a call from Quill, instantly hearing the frustration in his voice, "y/n get your ass back here now. I promised Yondu I'd get him that orb." You could hear the banging of the engin in his ship.
"Well the thing is, I kinda told Yondu that you dashed with the orb and you see, I've never betrayed him before so I dont have much to worry about here other than who I'm selling this thing too." You smiled, giving him a flirty little wave before hanging up, turning your ship tracker off.
"And that is how it's done." You sigh as you lean back in your chair, laughing slightly as how easy that was.

Easy didnt last long at all, not weeks later, you were on the run, with many, many people after you and that orb. A bounty up for your head, so there were people who you had never even wronged after you. With no plan of action, you ended back on Earth, back in Brooklyn, feeling at home- except for the angry army that was after you. You went to your old house, knocking on the door, preying that no one had bought it. The door opened, an old lady stood, a walking stick being used to help her balance. "Oh, I'm sorry, I must have the wrong house." You smile, turning to leave.
"No you don't, y/n. You don't look a moment older than the last time I saw you." Your heart does a flip as the familiar voice fills your ears, "Evie..." you turn, hugging her before you both went inside.

"I still can't believe you married Henry, but I can believe that your kids were that cute, obviously they take after their mother." You smile, looking through the pictures Evelyn had gotten out to show you. She truly had lived her life, every moment, not a second was left to waste. She had gotten everything she could ever have dreamed of and that was comfort to you, knowing you couldn't be there, be part of it all.
"I never thought I'd see you again." She placed a hand on yours, perfectly manicured nails, just as you remembered them. You gazed around the room, seeing little bits and pieces that remained from when you lived there.
"I can't stay right now, I kind of have a bunch of people after me and I dont want to put you in harms way, I swear I'll come back as soon as the dust has settled, by any chance do you know a good place i could go?" No matter what, you knew that staying with Evie wasn't an option, the sanger that was following close behind wasn't her responsibility.
"Actually, I do. The Stark tower. Well the Avengers tower, they'll be able to help you." She gave you a hug as you left, you took in the scent of her perfume, you were honestly shocked at how unchanged she was except for the evident passage of time.

The Avengers tower it was then, if they could help get this over with, it was worth a try. All you really wanted was to safely be able to see Evie. You put your headphones on, the music playing on full blast. Dancing through the lobby, past the security, surprised that they didn't rush to stop you. You entered a room, your eyes instantly sporting the bar, as you head over, a man catches your attention, sat analysing some 3D model. "You do realise that I know you're there, right?" You slip the headphones off, grabbing a glass to pour a drink, he stood and made his way over to you.
"Look kid, you can't be in here. No you can't interview me for a school project and I need you to leave." You say nothing, pouring scotch into a glass, the glass is grabbed from your hand, "you have to be 21 to drink kid." You roll your eyes, ah the joys of being immortal.
"I am way older than that, Stark is it?" You take the glass back, tipping the drink down your throat.
"Is there a problem in here Tony?" You look up to see a beautiful woman stood in the doorway, others had now shown up in the room. "I got a security breech notification. Is she the breech?" You scoff andpush yourself up to sit on the counter.
"Not a breech, looking for help actually. Preferably soon since there is a mob of angry alien guys coming for me." You watch the confusion spread across the faces in the room. A familiar voice drawing your attention, "I didn’t think you asked for help. I thought you dealt with thinkg on your own." You turn to see your brothers, stood just outside the elevator doors.
"Thor, Loki..." you bite your lip, feeling nervous as they entered the room.
