You place your hands on his cheeks, falling deep into his steel-blue eyes once more. You bite your bottom lip before whispering, "Let's kill this bastard." You turned to see Peter running through the battle, the infinity gauntlet in hand. You pace a small kiss on Bucky's cheek before heading over to help Peter.

You make your way over watching as one by one: Wanda, Nat, Pepper, Okoye, Valkyrae and all the other women gather round, Carol having taken the gauntlet from Peter. As they all start to head away, you turn to Peter, "You did good kid, I'm real proud of you," you wrap your arms around him, thinking about how he was just a kid, tangled up in all this mess- just like Wanda. You smile to yourself as you follow behind, taking out any straglers that got past everyone else, thinking about how strong they both are- how much they've been through and survived.

You watch as Pietro runs around below you, pausing momentarily to hive you a playful wink before going back to the creatures that were spreading like wildfire. You suddenly get blasted into the ground, your back hitting a huge boulder, knocking the air completely out of your lungs. It takes you a second, but you push yourself up; seeing the faint glow of the infinity stones nearby.

You make a run for it, snatching it up before Thanos could get to it. But thay wasn't the end, if he couldn't get it then, he would kill you to get it now. You took a deep breath, letting the gauntlet fit itself around your hand, screaming out as the pain shot through your veins, all the way up your arm, causing your head to throb with a crippling pain.

Bucky heard your scream, turning to look for you, "Y/N!" He ran, screaming your name through all the chaos, finally finding you through the waves of armies between you both. He turned his head, seeing Pietro stood beside him, no words were needed, they both simply nodded before ripping through the creatures together. All that truly mattered to them both was keeping you safe.

They both freeze, finally through the pool of creatures, you're eyes meet Bucky's gaze. The pain was overwhelming, you felt as though you were drowning; yet somehow your head felt like it would explode at any moment. Bucky watched as your lips moved slightly, unable to hear the words that tumbled from your mouth because of the war raging behind him and the excruciating pain thay weakened you every moment. But he had watched as you said those words a thousand times before- he knew exactly what you had said to him. Forever.

You close your eyes, focusing every ounce of strength within your veins, lifting your arm and snapping your fingers. You feel the wave of energy burst through you, tossing you aside as it rippled out.

Everyone watched as Thanos and his army disappeared, their eyes falling on you as you lay on the ground; motionless. Your eyes were still closed, Bucky's were welling with tears as he ran over to you, falling to his knees by your side. He placed his hand on your cheek, wiping away his tear that gently dropped upon your skin. Washing away some of the dirt and dust. He leant down, placing a kiss upon your forehead, holding back the sobs that were forming.
"You better still marry me Buck..." He lifted his head up, watching as your bloodied lips curved into a soft smile.

You open your eyes slightly; all the energy having been drained from your body. You listened as you heard sniffles and sighs of relief from all the great people you had fought beside; fought for. "I really need a fucking nap," you sigh, feeling Bucky's arms lift you up gently. You curl up, letting the sleep overtake you.
"It's all going to be okay now," you hear Bucky whisper to you moments before you go completely unconscious.

You feel the light, shining on your face as you start to wake up. Opening your eyes; squinting at the sun that peaked through the curtains. You could smell Bucky's scent surrounding you, all on the pillows and blankets that were tangled around you. The sound of his breathing, slow and steady beside you. You wince, clutching at your side as you push yourself up in the bed.
"You know, you really should be resting." Your eyes dart up, falling in Loki, sat in the corner of the room reading a book. You smile, unable to contain the happiness that bubbled within you. You didnt think it had worked, but when you killed Thanos, you had tried to trade his life for that of your brothers.

"I missed you," your voice is soft, still recovering aswell. You swing your legs over the side of the bed, pushing yourself up. You feel Loki wrap his arm around your waist, steading you,
"Let Bucky rest," you glance over at him, noting how peaceful he looked, yet his brow was still ever so slightly furrowed as he lay on his stomach, his arms underneath his head. Loki helped you as you left the room, taking you through to see Bruce. You try to convince him otherwise as he walks yoh there but Loki refuses to take you anywhere else till you've been checked over.

You both enter the room, Bruce is stood bandaging up Tony as you tap your knuckles agains the door. They both look up at you almost instantly, Tony makes his way over, wrapping his arms around you, as though he never wanted to let you go.
"I know your a God and all but man, you scared the hell out of me." You laugh slightly before taking a sharp breath in, "Bruce, check the poor girl over would you?" Tony helps Loki as you walk over to the table; letting Bruce check on all your wounds.

You're say, curled up on the couch in Tony's little library, a book in hand as you read. The warm glow of light from the lamp illuminating the otherwise dark room. "Hey doll, how are you feeling?" You glance up, seeing Bucky walking over to you. A small smirk on his face. You though back to the day you first met him, that same mischievous smile sat upon his lips and look where theat had gotten him. You couldn't help but live that smirk.
"Everything aches but I'm fine, honestly," you sit up, letting Bucky sit in on the couch so that you can lay on his chest. He reaches for the book in your hand, taking it. You watch as his chest slowly rises and falls, his soft lips moving gently as he began to read the book aloud. Your legs intertwined with his, the faint sound of his heartbeat sounding gently in your ear. You sight, smiling softly to yourself as you watched Bucky in complete and utter awe.
