~One Week Later~

"So are we just going to sit here and waist away? Or are you going to get your sorry asses up and get me to California? I'm not getting any younger here!" Snapped Murphy. "Can I please shoot him in the head?" I asked. "Now, Now, play nice you two" Doc said jokingly. "Murphy, we are all dehydrated, hungry, tired, and we are out of gas. What do you want us to do?" Snapped Warren. "I can go scout around and see if I can find some food or gas." I offered. "Take 10k with you I don't want you going alone." said Warren. 10k and I got up and started walking. "Wait! I'll go too." said Cassandra getting up and walking towards us. "Sure." I said smiling. The three of us walked around but didn't find any thing. "Hey what's that over there?" I asked pointing to a near buy building. "It looks likes a store." said Cassandra. "Nice find Angel." said 10k winking at me. "Nice find Angel..." Cassandra whispered mockingly. "Lets go!" yelled 10k. The three of us headed down to the store. "Hmm it seems to be locked." I said. "I got this." Said Cassandra. She balanced her self and kicked in the door but instead of breaking it in her foot went right through the glass. "Ahhh!" she screamed. "Oh my god!" yelled 10k. I slipped my hand through the hole she made and unlocked the door. "Bring her in here." I said. 10k picked Cassandra up and carried her inside the store. I quickly hurried around the store when I found the pharmacy. I quickly grabbed tweezers, some bandages, and some disinfectant. then I rushed back over to where they were. 10k had found some towels to clean up he blood I then carefully pulled out the peaces of glass. She whimpered and howled in pain. "Okay this is going to hurt... a lot." I said. Then I began to spray the disinfectant on her wound. "Ahhh!" she hollered. I stopped spraying and began to wrap it in bandages. "Okay, you stay here Angel and I will look around for supplies." said 10k. "No! I'm okay, I can look to." she said trying to stand up. She ended up falling back down as soon as she got to her feet. "Cassandra please." said 10k, then he walked away. I went to opposite way. I ended up finding Beef Jerky, Nuts, Dried Fruit, and bottled water. I met back with 10k and Cassandra. "I found jerky, nuts, dried fruit, and water" I said. "I found canned protein shakes and canned meat." said 10k. Lets just get a can opener and be on our way. We searched around the out side for some kind of vehicle or something with wheels. When I saw delivery truck. "Hey guys I found a vehicle!" I hollered. While I was loading up the supplies 10k helped Cassandra into the back of the truck. As 10k was helping her into the truck I suddenly saw a Z running towards them. "10k look out!" I yelled. he dropped Cassandra and whipped around just in time to stop the Z from biting his neck I quickly hopped onto the top of the truck and grabbed my hand gun. "Anytime now would be nice." said 10k struggling to keep the Z away "I cant get a clear shot!" I yelled in fear. 10k quickly kicked the Z back and I took the shot. It went right in the Zs eye and he fell. I could feel my body shaking with fear. 10k quickly ran to me as I feel off the top of the truck he caught me and gently set me down. "Hey, hey its okay. just breath." he said in a calm low voice. "Hello? Can get the hell out of here before any more show up?" Said Cassandra annoyed. 10k helped her into the back then we both got into the front and drove back to the rest of the group. "Hey! Well look who made it back!" said Doc with a slight laugh. 10k and I helped Cassandra out of the back of the truck. "What happened to you?" Questioned Murphy. "She got into a fight with a glass door." I said. Cassandra darted a sharp look at me then limped her way over to the van. "We brought food and water. and the trucks gas tank is full so we can siphon that to fill up the van." I said walking over the the slightly grassy area by a near by building. 10k sat down and handed me a pack of trail mix and a bottle of water. I sat up and smiled. "Thank you." I said. As 10k and I sat there I could see Cassandra starring at us I tried to ignore her the best I could. "So why did your brothers call you the Angel of Death?" 10k asked. "Well I guess its because of how many Zs I've killed." I replied. "How many have you killed?" he asked. "Uhh lets see the one today and then my mom and my brothers... um I would say about 5,284 Z since the virus broke out." I said with a smile. "Wow." He said with a sly smile. As we continued to to talk and laugh I could feel Cassandra's stair getting more and more intense. "If your not carful you'll burn a hole in the back of her head." said a voice. Cassandra whipped her head around to see Warren. "I just think she's leading him on." Said Cassandra. "Well at this point we all need to get along we cant have fighting in this group." Warren warned her. "Hmm, I know. I'm sorry." she said.
