A few days later I was sitting in the front seat with Warren while everyone else was resting. "Welcome to Missouri." "Only 5 states away." Said Warren. I noticed the sign and said, "and only 4 states a way from my dad." "Angel you know..." she began. "That he could possibly be a Z by now? Or not even alive... Yea I know, that's why I'm going, to find out." I said in a cold voice. She nodded and continued to drive in scilence. "So if you don't mind me asking what happened back there, in that nuclear plant?" She said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "When you and Cassandra came running out of the plant you were ahead of her and you didn't look like you were running from a Z, you looked like you were running from her." She said. "Oh, uh...." I said not knowing how to answer. "Lets just say I could have died back there, but I didn't and that's all because of Cassandra." I finished. "So she saved you?" She asked surprised. "She saved herself." I said looking out the window. "Mmm" we both herd from the back I looked back to see 10k tossing and turning. Warren looked at me and nodded. So I crawled into the back and right as I sat down 10k wrapped his arms around my legs and laid his head on my thy. I smiled softly and ran my fingers through his hair. "10k needs a strong woman someone who can keep up with him and hold him up when he falls... he needs you." Warren said looking back at us through the mirror. "Trust me he's better off without me... I'm not right for him, if you haven't noticed trouble seems to fallow me." I said in a sad voice. "Do you really believe that Angel?" She asked. I didn't answer I just looked down at 10k who was sound asleep. I smiled to myself and laid my head back. "BAM!!" Everyone jumped "what happened! What was that?" Asked Mack. "I... I don't know." Said Warren. We all got out and saw a person under the car, but they didnt look like they were zombiefied. "Oh my god! I hit a living person!" Warren said horrified. "Warren it will be okay. Just calm down." Addie said trying to calm her down. "Ahhhhhh!" We heard from behind us. We saw a woman and two men running towards us. "What did you do?!" One of the men hollared. "I.. I didn't see him... I- I'm sorry." Warren said stuttering. "Oh my god! Oh my god! Micheal! Michael!" The woman screamed hitting the ground. Warren was in tears watching her. "Your all comeing with us!" Said one of the men. They pulled out their guns and told us to walk. "Marie! Marie come on! Now!" One of the men said to the woman on the ground. He pulled her to her feet and made her walk away. We got to this barn and they pushed us inside. They had us give them our wepons and told us to sit down. "I'm getting tired of giving up my wepon." I said pulling my bow and arrow to one of the men's heads. The man swallowed hard then a felt the barrel of a gun aginst my temple. I took a deep breath. No one else had there wepons so no one could help. "Put the bow and arrow down slowly." He said. I slowly dropped my bow and case of arrows. "Now get over there!" He said shoving me. I fell to the floor. "Hey! Watch it!" 10k yelled helping me up. "What you say punk?" The man said getting in 10k's face. I quickly grabbed 10k and pulled him back. The lady came back with ropes and rags. They had us all sit at a different piller that was holding the barn up. We sat there for hours. Finally one of the men came back in, with the barn door open we could see that it was now dark out. The man came up to me and untied me, he pulled me to my feet and said, "You're first." I looked at him with fear in my eyes. "Wait! What? No... no!" I yelled. "Hey! Leave her alone!" 10k yelled. "Wait. Where are you taking her? Hey! Hey!" He continued to scream. But the man dragged me out of the barn and into a near by house. He brought me inside. I could smell cigars and booz. I looked over and saw oxycontin, "shit." I thought to my self. The man through me on a bed and held me down while the other man got undressed. "Get off me! No, please! PLEASE!!!" I screamed, but they didn't listen. They continued to have their way. "No! Nooooooo! Ahhhhhh!" I cried out trying to fight back. When one of the smacked me and busted my lip.
~10k's POV~
I could hear Angel screaming from the barn. "Damn it! I know there hurting her and I can't do anything!" 10k said stuggling to get out of the ropes, but it was no use.
~my P.O.V~
They could hear me screaming and begging for someone to help, but it went on for hours. Finally they had me put my clothes back on and took me back out to the barn. They threw me down and tied me back to one of the pillers. He forcefully kissed me and I jerked away and spit in his face. "You little bitch!" He Said in anger and smacked me then stormed off. We were left alone for the rest of the night, but sleep was not an option. The next morning the two men came into the barn. One man looked at me And smiled then said, "Your time is up, darlin'..." We were all terrified. One by one the two men untied us, stood us up, and tied us back together into a line. They walked us across a long valley tell we got to a river. "Get in." One of the men said. We hesitantly walked towards The river and stepped in. When we turned around They both were holding gun up to us. Tears filled my eyes and fell down my cheek. "Awe don't cry darling." Said one of the men walking up to me and wiping a tear off my cheek. "Don't touch her!" 10k screamed. While the man was distracted I kneed him in the balls and grabbed his shot gun. I shot the man standing in front of Murphy first then I put the gun up to the man's head that was kneeling I front of me. "You are a worthless peace of shit and I hope you burn in hell." I said in an angry hurt voice then pulled the trigger. We got the ropes untied and headed back to the house and searched for our weapons. Finally I realized they wernt in the barn they were in the house. I swallowed hard and grabbed the shotgun. Then I started walking towards the house. Everyone fallowed wondering what I was going to do. I kicked open the door and pointed the gun at the woman's head. "Angel what are you doing?" Doc said in shock. "Angel dont do this, she's could just be another trapped victim." Said Mack. "A victim!" I screamed not taking my eyes off her. "She no DAMN victim. She's the mastermind behind all of this! She told them who to go get, she told them what to do to me! But the worst part... She likes to watch..." I said then pulled the trigger. She fell to the floor. "Sick bitch..." I said. We searched the house and finaly found our weapons and got some suplise Then headed out. We cifened all the gas out of all the cars there and filled up our van then were back on the road. Nobody spoke to me and I didn't want them to. 10k sat next to me and noticed I was shaking. He knew I wouldn't want to be touched, but he carefully put his hand on mine. I looked over at him and saw the concern in his eyes. I gave him a weak smile and intertwined our fingers then looked back out the window at nothing but dead trees, tears fell down my cheeks and I quickly wiped them away and pushed the last two days into the back of my mind, as if they had never happened.
