Z Nation (10k FanFic)

Wave 2

As we were sitting there waiting for the 1st wave to pass i pulled out the pod and turned it on. I was going through my brothers file with 10k when Cassandra walked up. "Ooo! What's this!" she said trying to touch the screen. I immediately shot up out of my seat and yelled, "Don't you dare lay a finger on this pod or the screen!" "Okay that's enough!" yelled Warren. We all looked at her and she continued. "We are the last hope this world has, we have to get Murphy to California so they can make a cure for this, but we can't do it if your all at each others throats! So you need to get your shit together and push your problems aside until we complete the mission then you can all kill each other after." we all nodded and went back to what we were doing before. Hours passed and we started hearing noises down the dark hallway. "Warren whatever is down there is getting closer and if they corner us in here were screwed." said Addie. "Okay, okay Addie, Angel your with me. 10k you stay here and keep Cassandra here." she said. 10k nodded and said, "Yes ma'ma". We headed down the hallway and stopped at the three way split. "I think I hear it down the hall on the right." I said. We slowly continued down until we reached a room. Warren went in first, then me, then Addie and to our amazement there on the floor sat some kind of creacher it had a big head and was supper skinny it had a long tail and was all black. I pulled out one of my arrows and aimed for its head. I let off my arrow, it hit the creacher in the head and bounced off. It turned to look at us then stood up. It towered over all three of us. "Guys I think we should run.... now!" said Addie in a panic. We all took off down the hallway and the creacher fallowed us we tried shooting it, but the bullets just bounced off. "What the hell is this thing?" I said between breaths. "Im not sure, but I don't want to get close enough to find out." said Warren. We ran until we found a small room, we ran inside and hid inside the storage closet. The creacher fallowed us inside and was just standing there. I pulled out my hand gun and aimed for his eye. "Angel what are you doing?" Warren asked in an angry tone. "He doesn't have a hard cover over his eyes the bullet should go right through." I said. "You better know what your doing." she said. I aimed my gun again and shot him right in the eye. The bullet went though and out the back the creacher fell and we all got out of the closet. "I can't believed that worked." said Addie. We all smiled and started walking back to the room with the others. As we were walking back we heard yelling comming from one of the rooms. We walked over to the room we heard it coming from. We peeked inside and saw Cassandra and 10k. "If you really feel that way then why are you still here?" said 10k. "Because these people keep me alive and when that vaccination is made im going to be first in line." said Cassandra. "You know what, you dont care about this team or the mission I'm done. I'm going to tell the others and your out." said 10k. He started to walk away and Cassandra got angry. "10k! Get back here!" she yelled. She jumped on his back and he fell backwards. He slammed her against the wall and the door. She tried to kick him but her foot went right through the glass "Ahhh" she yelled and feel to the floor. "Shit!" 10k said. He helped her up and back to the small room we fallowed and acted like we had no clue what happened. "What happened to her?" asked Addie. "Do you really have to ask?" said 10k. We all nodded and Doc went to work fixing up her leg. Finally after what felt like a life time the rumbling from above ground stopped. The door shut and the room was lifted above ground. When we walked out everything but the building we were in was destroyed. "Lets get out of here before the second wave!" said Addie. We all piled into the jeep and drove. Addie got Citizen Z on the radio and he said our best bet for survival is the grand canyon.
