We got back to the group and everyone looked at us with shock. "So did you guys patch everything up?" Doc said raising his eyebrow. I smiled blushing a little. Addie called me over to the car with her and Warren. I walked over and was imidiantly hounded with questions. "So what happened? What did you talk about? Are you guys a couple?" said Addie all excited. "Addie, give her a chance to talk." said Warren laughing. "Sorry." she said. I laughed a little than told them everything. "Awe! That's so cute!" Addie said making little faces at me.
~Later That Night~
10k and I were sleeping in the back of the van when Cassandra sat up from the back seat "10k... 10k are you awake?" she whispered. He looked up at her and said, "Yea, what's up?" "Can we go somewhere and talk? Please." she asked. He looked down at me as I was sound asleep and said, "Yea, I guess." he slowly got up and walked away with Cassandra. "So what did you want to talk about?" he said. "Well, I wanted to talk to you about Angle." she said. 10k stopped and got a funny look on his face. "What about her?" he asked. "Well I... uh... I don't think she's good for you." she said. 10k raised his eyebrow and said, "What? Since when is it your decision on who's good for me or not?" "Well its not.. I just think she's no good. I mean since she's been here we've gotten kidnapped, almost killed by radio active zombies, and got stuck in a Zunamie!" she said getting a little irritated. "Seriously Cassandra? One that Zunamie wasn't her fault that was out of our control and we've been through worse before she ever showed up!" 10k said shouting a little bit. "Okay, okay! Calm down I'm sorry." She said trying to keep him quiet. "No, all you've done since she showed up is be a total bitch! Angle didn't do anything to you! All you've done is judge her and not even try to get to know her." said 10k trying to be quiet. Cassandra stayed quiet and just looked at her feet. "Now, if that's all you wanted to talk about I think we're done here." said 10k walking away. That next morning Cassandra was gone. "Does anyone know where Cassandra went?" said Warren. Non of us knew, but we were all worried. "Well I guess she didn't want to be on this team anymore." said Doc. "No, that's bull I can tell this team meant everything to her. We have to find her." I said standing up. "Angle no..." 10k said. I sighed then said, "Look, back at that little town where the radioactive chambers were she told me that she thought I turned all you guys against her. You guys mean the world to her. Plus I could have died back there and she saved me." They all agreed with me so we got back into the van and searched for her. We finally came to this city called Haysville. "Maybe we can get some gas here." Said Mack. It we search all day and found nothing, as we were about to give up I heard a scream. "Did you guys hear that?" I said. We all looked around frantically when we heard the scream again. "It's coming from over there!" Addie said pointing to a near by hospital. We all ran inside when we heard it again. "Ahhh! Please someone! Help me!" with out hesitation I took off for the stairs 10k and Warren fallowed me. We got to the third floor when the screams got loader we all split up dodging Z's and listening for the scream. I hid behind one of the corners when I heard Z's coming my way. There were about 4 so I knew I couldn't use my bow with out catching the other threes attention. So I pulled out my hand gun and quickly fired four shots. "Angle? 10k? You guys alright." Warren yelled. "Yea!" we both yelled back. Just then we heard the scream again "It's coming form over here!" I said running to the source of the scream. "It's Cassandra!" I yelled to the others. She was in the elevator shaft holding on to a rope. "Cassandra grab my hand!" I said stretching my hand out to her. "Yea right! You'll probably drop me!" she said. Just then the elevator doors began to close pushing hard on my ribs. "Ahh!" I yelled. "Warren hurry, come help me! The doors are going to crush her!" 10k yelled in a panic. Warren and 10k pried the doors open. "Cassandra hurry! Take my hand." I yelled in pain. "No way!" she yelled. "Cassandra! Seriously you have to trust me!" I pleaded. "Cassandra, you have to trust her! We cant hold these doors much longer!" said Warren. "Trust me!" I yelled. Just then she grabbed my hand and I pulled her up. 10k and Warren let go of the doors just as we hit the floor. The doors slammed shut and Cassandra jumped. "You... you risked your life for me." she said astonished. I tried to stand but I couldn't, Cassandra just looked at me. Warren and 10k carried me to and X-ray room to look at my ribs. Nothing was broken, but they were bruised so I would be sore for a few days. "How did you guys find me?" she asked. "Angle... she wanted to look for you, to make sure you weren't hurt." said Warren. "Really?" she said looking over at me lying on the X-ray table with 10k sitting next to me. "How did you get in the elevator shaft anyway?" Warren said looking over at her. "I was being chased by Z's and was out of bullets so I grabbed one of the ropes to hide in the shaft, but after they were gone I couldn't get my self back up." She said lowering her head. "Well your lucky Angle didn't give up on you." "Yea..." she said quietly. 10k carried me down the stairs and to the van. He set me in the back and we all drove off. Later that night everyone was asleep except Cassandra and I. "Hey Angle?" she whispered. I slowly moved flinching in pain. "Yea?" I said. "Thank you." She said quietly. "Now were even." I said smiling with a little chuckle. "Yea... Now were even" she said laughing.
