Bye Bye Murphy

When I woke up we were all in a room except to Murphy and Cassandra. "What? Where are we?" I asked. We all got up and looked around for our weapons but they were no where to be found. Just them a young girl opened the door. "Oh your all awake" she said. "Where are we?" I asked. She laughed and said, "your at the Casa De Los Muertos of course!" We all looked at each other then back at her. "The house of the dead?" She said again in English. We still didn't quite under stand. "The headquarters for the most deadliest bounty hunters since Black Summer..." She said. We all quickly caught on. "What do you guys want with us?" I asked. "She herd a group of very skilled hunters was transporting a package to California a cure for this out break. Is it true? Do you guys have the cure?" She asked hopefully. "We hope we do, but we won't know until we get to California." Said Warren. "Oh, no need to worry She'll know real soon!" She said. "Who's is she?" I asked. The little girl laughed and said, "You'll find out. In due time. For now eat, rest, and socialize before tonight's party." With that she walked out. We all looked at each other and walked out. They had a large cafeteria where we all got something to eat. I wasn't very hungry so I just pushed my food around. I got up and walked off, I went to the bathroom and started to throw up. Something just didn't feel right. I hadn't realized 10k had fallowed me when I left until I got out of the bathroom and bumped into him down the hall. "Can we talk?" He asked. "What's there to talk about?" I said coldly. "About what happened in that town back in California." He said. I hadn't thought about that since the first wave. "What about it? You obviously made your choice." I said. "Angel please just listen! Please!" He begged. I looked around and pulled him into a near by room. "You got 5 minutes." I said. "Angel look, you were gone for so long I thought you has up and left on me. I was so distraught I couldn't sleep for days. I didn't intend to fall asleep with her. I was exhausted and with you finally back I didn't have to worry and I just fell asleep." He said. "Why were you two cuddling then?" I asked. "I wasn't cuddling her he was scared and started crying I felt bad and was trying to keep her quiet so they wouldn't hear us." He said. "S....so you didn't move on?" I asked. "Move on? How could I move one! Angel I'm in love with you! I could never just move on." He said. I stared at him for a minute then fell into his arms. He held me tight and all I could do was cry. When we made it back to the group they were talking to that same little girl. "Your outfits for tonight are ready. Please fallow me." She said. She led us into separate rooms where a man or a woman were waiting to help us get ready for tonight. In my room a woman handed me a white Matilda color block Asymmetric bandage dress and a pair of black T-strapped platform pumps. She did my make-up and curled my hair then pinned it up into a elegant twisted up do. Once I was fully dressed she escorted me to the party 10k was already there. I walked over to him and said, "hey stranger." He turned to look at me and his jaw dropped. "Wow, you look beautiful." He said. "Care to dance?" I asked. "Oh uh, y...yea." He said. We walked out to the dance floor and started slow dancing and 10k pulled me close. "Everyone! Can I have your attention please!" Said a very flashy dressed lady. "We have a very special guest with us tonight! THE MURPHY!" She announced and Murphy stepped onto the stage. "Murphy signal handedly holds the solution to surviving this Z out brake!" She spoke again. Everyone started cheering. "Your lying! How can one man hold the cure to all this!" A man in the crowed shouted. "You DARE talk back and doubt your superior?!" She shouted then snapped her fingers. The bodyguard standing next to her pulled out his gun and shot him in the head then two more men carried him off. 10k and I slowly back up until we got to Warren and the others. "Does anyone else doubt me?" She said. The whole crowed said no. She continued to explain how Murphy held the key. "We need to find our weapons and get the hell out of here." Whispered Warren. As she was giving her speech we all snuck off. We searched the rooms "guys I found them!" Addie called out. We all rushed over and grabbed our weapons. When we got back their leader was just finishing up. "And now our special guest will share this cure." She said "wait what? We didn't discus this!" Murphy said. He tried to run off stage but two large men stopped him. She made him sit down in a chair and strapped him in then took some of his blood from his arm. She put it in a new syringe and injected it into the little girls neck. Then she had one of her goons bring in a Z on what looked like a dog chain. She pushed the little girl towards the Z and it bit her on the face. The little girl screamed while we all sat and watched and to everyone's amazement she didn't turn. So the lady then injected some of Murphy's blood into herself. That's when Warren yelled, "LET HIM GO!" and we all pulled out our weapons. Her guards pulled out there's and we were severely out matched. I noticed Murphy mouthing something, but my attention was grabbed by the leader yelling "STOP!! Let Murphy and his friends go." They all looked at her with a confused look. "Now," she yelled. They unstrapped Murphy and he quickly pushed us out the door and him and Cassandra took off while the rest of us were still trying to figure out what just happened. "Guys! Where's Murphy?" Addie asked. He was gone.
