Waking up I looked at my clock on the wall across my bedroom, it was 10:36 and I didn't want to get up just yet, after all it was a Sunday morning. "Big Brother Harli!" yelled Stacy, my little sister as she barged into my room, "It's time to get up, you slept in this morning!"She says as she opened the curtains making the morning sunshine light up the entire room.

"Come on Harlequin, it's time to get up," Said my mom who was standing at the door. "Too early…" I mumbled pulling the covers over my head. "Come on now, we can't leave the house with someone who's asleep now can we?" Mother said as she pulled the covers back. "Big Brother Harli isn't coming with us?" Stacy said with a bit of an upset tone. "That's up to him, now Harlequin, get ready, breakfast is waiting on the table." Mother said as she picked up Stacy and left the room closing the door behind her.

"Urgh," I mumbled under my breath and rolled out of bed to go brush my teeth. Then I grabbed the first shirt I could find, a pair of jeans, and my red hoodie, then I grabbed my phone and went downstairs to go eat breakfast. Something felt off about today, but I didn't take time to put much thought into it. As I sat down at the table mother put a plate of pancakes with whip cream and blueberries on top which I gladly gobbled up quickly.

"Harlequin, you sure you don't want to come to the park with your sister and I?" Mother asked as she opened the front door where Stacy walked out over to the car. "I'm sure Mom," I said without hesitation, "Alright then, make sure to keep the house from burning down!" She said jokingly as she shut the door. "Home alone at last since a long time." I mumbled as I went over to the couch and turned on the TV.

"Since just last week there have been several missing reports of people all under the age of 20 gone missing!" Said the News Channel as I switched through the channels on the TV. "Blood War against the Killer Eyes and the Crystal Monsters ends six years later!" The TV then shouted as I then switched the channel.

Pluto my Corgi did a little hop to get my attention. When I looked down at him he spun in a circle, meaning he wanted to play, so I turned off the TV because I had nothing else to do and grabbed one of his toys and started playing with him. After a while I started to get the feeling something was wrong, this time it felt stronger, like a thousand times worse. Pluto could feel it too, he stopped playing and started looking around, even growling a bit. On top of it all, it felt like I was being watched, and not just by one single person.

Pluto then ran off into another room and it was completely silent. I rolled up my sleeves and grabbed the steel baseball bat that was next to the fireplace below the TV. As I slowly started to walk toward the room Pluto went to, I heard footsteps behind me. Quickly I turned shutting my eyes by reflex and taking a strong swing at something. I had hit something, it wasn't human that's for sure. It didn't even fall back or get knocked out.

Once I opened my eyes, instead it disappeared and let out a shriek so loud it hurt my ears, then made a deep, scratch into my arm and I dropped my bat in pain. I looked at my arm which I could barely move, it was bleeding, and it was a lot. Something from behind hit me with something, then I blacked out.
