A vanilla honey candle burned as the record player sang a beautiful song that lulled everyone. Millie had told Ellie about what they had talked about and Ellie was so happy for her sister. They giggled while they sat on Millie's bed with blankets wrapped around each of them and goofy grins spread across their lips. "So, Ellie?" "What's up Mill" Millie giggled as she scrunched up her nose almost cutely and clasped her hands together. "Do you happen to have a small crush on Finn? It seems like you do. You got so red earlier!"
Ellie could feel the heat slowly coming to her cheeks and she looked down at her fingers, almost picking at the day old nail polish. "i don't know maybe I do, mill.." Millie giggled as she snuggled against the soft fabric of the cherry blossom blanket that Emma had gotten her many years ago. "Aw! Well, I'll be your wingwoman and ask Sadie if you'd like. Maybe after we hangout though.. I don't want her to think poorly of me." Millie would admit, she probably cared too much for some reason about what Sadie thought of her but also how she could captivate Millie without trying at all.
Sadie giggled as she laid in her bed with Finn laying in the opposite direction from her and he playfully wiggled his eyebrows which caused Sadie to roll her eyes. "Are you excited about seeing Millieee" Finn teased as Sadie gently kicked his side and stared up at the blue stars that were being projected onto her ceiling. "Yeah, I truly am. I really hope it's not awkward though. That's what I'm afraid of. It's probably stupid" She laughed nervously and picked at her fingers.
Caleb sat at a wooden table just outside of the mall with one of his earbuds in as his best friend came walking out of the heavy doors. "Hey! McLaughlin!" He heard the cheery boy shout which caused him to laugh and look over his shoulder. "What's up Gaten? Is Joe going to pick you up today or am I going to have to terrifyingly watch you drive home" Gaten let out a sarcastic little laugh and sat down next to him. "You are so funny McLaughlin. My stomach hurts from laughter" "I know I am! Thank you, pudding lover"
As soon as nightfall hit the sky and the brightest light that would come through the room was the moon. Millie had left their room to help get Ava ready for bed because she was typically hard for one person to get her completely ready for bed. "Hey, Avs! do you want to get into your jammies then watch a show with me and Ellie? It's your pick!" Millie knew that Ava wouldn't ever refuse that and she was proven right. From there it was easy to get her ready to sleep and to make sure they didn't scare Ava, they put on an episode of spongebob square pants.
When the episode concluded, Ellie looked down at Ava who was peacefully asleep as Millie playfully stuck her tongue out at Ellie before picking the little blonde up and put her to bed. She made sure Ava was tucked in and that her sloth stuffed animal was in her arms before giving her a light kiss on her forehead then left the room quietly. "Good night Mumma and good night Emi!" Both teens said to the tallest girls who were still awake downstairs.
