"You have nothing to worry about, it will all be okay.." -
The morning sun peeked into the soft lilac and blue room. No part of Millie wanted to get up, she just wanted to stay in bed for the day. She knew that there was school today but she just couldn't bring herself to leave her bed. She could hear Ellie shuffling in her bed then it silenced for only a moment. The previous noises were replaced by light pitter patter of Ellie's feet coming over to her. It didn't take long for Millie to feel the covers being lifted off of her then lightly placed back down.
Ellie only tucked a piece of Millie's crazy hair behind her ear which caused the sleeping brunette to flutter her eyes open, only a little bit. "I'll get Madi and Ava up okay? It's cereal day anyway.. I'll let you slowly wake up" Ellie said softly as Millie slowly but surely nodded and held her comfort stuffed animal close to her chest while Ellie left her bed. Ellie changed then flipped on the fairy lights to give Millie a softer way to be introduced to the light.
After another 30 minutes passed, Millie slid out of bed almost reluctantly. She didn't feel like trying so she kept on her Winnie the Pooh pajama pants but threw on an equality sweatshirt. Millie pulled her hair up into a messy ponytail then slipped on her converses and left the comfort of her room. Going down the stairs almost drained her but she made it to the kitchen. "Morning Millster" Madi smiled as Ava grinned at Millie and both girls got a weak smile back from Millie. "Morning Av n Mads"
Leaving the house was a blur to Millie. She only remembers trying to finish her cereal then getting on the bus with Ellie on her left. Ellie had informed Jill about what happened so she was prepared for the long day ahead. The bus ride seemed so short but so long all at the same time. The doors opened and Ellie could swear that Millie almost sprinted off the yellow prison. Millie waited for Ellie get out before she started walking into school.
Once Millie saw Ellie, they set off walking. Millie walked in silence and gently held her sisters hand before Jill came running and hugged them both. "My favorite twins!" Jill smiled as Ellie playfully rolled her eyes and Jill heard a familiar voice behind her. "Baby!" Jill smiled as Lilia came running with a Tupperware in her arms and smiled. "Hi honey, I made a cake last night" Lilia giggled which caused Millie to weakly smile at her. "I don't think you guys have officially met! Lil, these two are my darling best friends" Jill smiled as Lilia got a clear look of Ellie which caused her to gasp.
"You're my brothers girlfriend! It's nice to meet you officially Ellie" Lilia squealed as they shook hands and Ellie was confused just got a moment before it finally clicked while Millie just seemed to be in her own little world. "Oh no, another Wolfhard! How dare the world survive" Ellie said playfully yet dramatically which caused Lilia to laugh and wrap her arm around Ellie. "I like you already. You are a great match for the giant, don't tell him I said that he would never let me hear the end of it."
