" Merry Christmas !! " Emi yells as she opens the door.
" Merry Christmas " I laugh stepping into her home. The smell of dinner hitting my nose instantly.
" We got you some presents, and where's baby Roxy I have something for her " I start putting an a baby voice, sometimes you just can't help it. I walk into the kitchen seeing her in Micks arms.
" Look at her she's wearing a pretty christmas dress " I coo.
" Do you mind if I....if I hold her I want to get some practice in " Nikki asks. I almost forgot he's having a baby. I watch as Mick hands her to him. She reaches up grabbing his nose and he laughs.
" I think she likes you " Emi laughs.
" She's just so small " Nikki stares at the tiny human in his arms. I grab his camera from the bag and snap a shot. He looks up at me.
" Sorry it was just too cute " I smile.
" So first christmas without a drink " Micks says.
" Yeah it's hard to believe but I actually haven't even thought about having one "
" Soph will you help me set the table " Emi asks and we leave the boys in the kitchen.
" So how is it going " she's referring to me and Nikki.
" really really good, i'm kind of scared though I feel like i'm falling for him way faster than the last time " I sigh as I place the knives and forks down on the table.
" well you already had some feelings towards him this time round so I guess that was probably expected " she shrugs.
" It's going to be really hard when he's in rehab...I feel like i'm responsible for him you know and not being able to see him whenever I want " I feel a slight panic come over me I don't think I thought about how this would make me feel.
" Soph it'll be alright , you need to stay positive for yourself and for him....you have us you have Tommy and Heather and Vince and Sharise we'll all be here and plus you will be so busy with work the time will fly by " She smiles bringing me in for a hug.
She's right I know all these people are here for us. I feel extremely lucky that these people know what it's like too, because it's also happening to them. I need to stop being so selfish. From what i've gathered Nikki is the only one actually entering a facility. The others just have regular meeting with sponsors and obviously family have to keep an eye on them.
" Emi somethings burning in here " Mick yells from the kitchen.
" Fuck " she mutters running back into the kitchen. Nikki appears at the door way, he walks over to me placing his hands on my hips.

" And what about you, you literally came up with a whole plan to get us to back off so you can have her " Mick adds looking at Emi.
" Well I didn't want her in the first place " he defends and we all laugh.
" Well it worked didn't it , I am a genius " He leans back in his chair.
" There's my narcissist boyfriend " I laugh.

" today has been great hasn't it " I hum lying down on Nikki's bed.
" yeah it's the first time i've actually felt really good in my life " He leans down to kiss me.

" I'm gonna take a shower , you want in " he smirks.
" Think i'll join you soon but first I need to clean up the mess downstairs " I get up making my way out into the hall.

Christmas is all fun and games until you're left with wrapping paper all over the place. I start to pick it up off the floor when I hear a knock. I look at the clock and it reads 8:45 pm. Who would be calling so late. Maybe it's Tommy. I can hear the faint sounds of the shower running from upstairs. I open the door and met with a pretty woman. She's not old but she's also not middle aged.
" Um Hi can I help you " I ask confused.
" Is Frankie here " she says nervously.
" Frankie? I'm sorry I think you have the wrong house " I go to close the door but she blocks it with her foot.
" Oh yes he changed his name I mean Nikki " I look at the woman who now I think I know who she is.
" He's um not here at the moment i'm sorry "
" Please " she begs.
" I just want to talk to him " she shakes.
" Miss please don't take this the wrong way but I don't think now is the right time " I say as she tries her best to look inside the house.
" Deana.... " hear from behind me. Oh no.
" Frankie oh would you look at you, you could have at least put some clothes on " I turn around looking at Nikki who stands at the top of the stairs in just a towel.
" That's not my name " he breathes trying to keep his cool.
" Fran- Nikki I just want to talk to you, please come talk with your dear old mother " I look at the woman and can't believe how manipulative she's being right now.
" M'am please can you leave and come back another time , now isn't a good time " I try sounding as polite as I can but she's testing my patience.
" Sophia it's okay..... let her in i'll be down in a second " Nikki says with no emotion. I move out of the way gesturing for her to come in.
She follows me into the living room taking a seat.
" May I ask who you are " she says looking at me contently.
" My name is Sophia i'm Nikki's girlfriend " I take a seat opposite her.

" You have 5 minutes Deana that's it " Nikki enters the room taking a seat beside me.
