" Nikki ! " I yell shutting the door, I run into the living room but he's not there.
" Nikki where are you " I run up the stairs into the bedroom. He's not in bed. I open the bathroom door and he's not there either. I stand in the middle of the room cursing at myself. I shouldn't have left him alone. I feel hands on my shoulders suddenly as he yells in my ear causing me to scream with the fright.
He stands there laughing while I feel like my heart is in my mouth.
" You asshole you scared the shit out of me " I laugh holding my chest.
" that was the plan , I heard you come in so I hid behind the door " he walks up to me holding my face and kissing my lips.
" I have great news ! " I boast.
" Holzman set up an interview with MTV for me! " I smile but he doesn't seem too happy.
" Why do you have that look on your face " I ask skeptically.
" I'm sorry I am happy for you I really am but the thing is those MTV interviewers can be brutal " He says sitting down picking up his diary.
" Nikki i'll be fine , i've learned to grow a thick skin in the last couple of months " I give him a reassuring smile.
" I know I just don't want the press ridiculing you like they do to us , it's fucking hard sometimes " he looks sad.
"Trust me darling you don't need to worry about me" I kiss him quickly turning around to start cleaning up this room because it's annoying me that I can barely see the floor.
" Oh aswell doc said he knows a psychiatrist that works at a centre if you would like to speak to him before you decide what you're gonna do " I say as I go around picking up dirty clothes off the floor.
" yeah okay " he says uninterested as he writes in his diary.
" what are you writing " I ask sweetly.
" oh nothing " he gives me a short answer.
