The following morning Sawyer awoke in his chair behind the desk. A blanket laid over him. When had he fallen asleep? Stretching the blanket falls to lay on his lap. A door opening caught his attention. Looking up he saw Willow walking into the bedroom carrying a bowl of oatmeal. She had a smile on her face as she walked over to him.
"Good morning," Willow sang.
"Good morning," Sawyer said," what put you in such a good mood?"
"Oh it's nothing," Willow said," I just found out Chase finally man up and asked Violet out."
She was happy because someone was asked out? To him, that seemed like a stupid thing to be happy about. But the more he thought about it the more he realized that Willow and him never been out on a date. Yes, they would spend the day together when the boat was docked. But he never really took her anyplace nice except when he got her clothes on her birthday.
"Well we should be docking sometime today," Sawyer said," how would you like to go and stretch your legs?"
Willow gasped," I never thought the barbarian, the most feared and ruthless, would be asking me out on a date." She ended up snickering a little at the end. And it was probably due to the look he was giving her.
"Look I don't normally do things like that," Sawyer said," I never been in any serious relationships before."
"And you never planned to be a father," Willow added.
He ate the oatmeal as Willow rummaged around their clothes. She was six months into her pregnancy and had a decent-sized baby bump. She had resorted to wearing her pajamas or one of his shirts most of the time now. He watched her give a huff and toss another shirt on the bed where she followed and sat down.
"Do we need to get you some bigger clothes?" Sawyer asked.
"You don't mind," Willow said uncertainly.
"Not at all," Sawyer said walking over to her.
"But it hasn't been that long since I got some new clothes," Willow said.
"I know, but by the looks of it you need some new ones that'll fit," Sawyer said.
Willow agreed. And they made their way to the deck. They made themselves comfortable and a few hours later they saw land and docked. They were now at Nacleatan.
"So where first?" Willow asked.
"Let's get you some new clothes and go from there," Sawyer said.
They came across a store with a sign that said in big white letters, Pearl. Looking through the window they could see many different clothes many more elegant than others.
"I guess we should try looking here," Willow said.
He agreed and they opened the door and walked in. The sound of a bell greeted their ears.
"Dia duit, conas is féidir liom cabhrú leat?" A woman asks walking into sight.
(Hello, how can i help you?)"Nílimid ag lorg ach roinnt éadaí aibíochta," Sawyer said.
(We are just looking for some maturity clothes.)The woman glanced down at their hands. She pressed her lips into a think line for a moment before smiling and showing them where they could look. Sawyer watched her leave as Willow began to look through the clothes.
"So how many other languages can you speak?" Willow asked not looking at him.
He drew his attention back to Willow and answered," I know more languages than I can count."
